Private Pool and hot tub with Ocean Views!

I wish we could have left a great review for our stay but it was one thing after another. The house is in definite need of some cleaning and care. Upon arrive we took pictures and videos of the house and property. The outside back pool area drain system must be clogged because there was always a 3 inch puddle of nasty green water build up all around the hot tub door area and the out door shower was not usable as it has about an inch or two of nasty green sand/ dirt. The walk area from parking to pool was also the same. The pool and hot tub were dirty upon arrival (bugs and A lot of sand) and when the pool company came they added chemicals and left (did not vacuum until we complained). The basketball hoop and grills are so bad rusted they were not usable. Now for the inside there were dead and alive flies and roaches on the third and second floor. We bought spray and fly swatters to help. The table was left peeling and dirty. The water pressure was awful. A lot of the kitchen stuff didn’t work (blenders and such). You can tell the owners have not been there to update anything in a long time. We had maintenance men in and out our stay fixing issues we found and issues from previous renters (blinds were all broken ). There’s not much near you to do unless you want to drive and traffic is terrible 2 miles takes 20 minutes during certain times of day. The pictures for this ad need to be updated. And someone needs to go in and give the house a real cleaning and get rid of the junk

Everything about this trip was perfect, especially at our stay here at this fantastic home. James is an incredible communicator and kept us posted on absolutely everything we needed to know on this property and overall trip for a comfortable stay. We greatly suggest this place and will be back again soon. Thank you James!

Big house plenty of room for 12 people.

Great location very close to the beach access. The house and pool were clean. The host was very responsive when we had any questions.

We couldn’t ask for better location . The neighborhood very friendly and safe. Beautiful views and pool. We will come back for sure .

We had a great stay at this house! It was comfortable, clean, spacious, and a very short walk to the ocean. Unfortunately the weather turned bad the day after we arrived but the heated pool, hot tub, pool table and extra large tv in the living room solved that problem. We had delicious pizza and cheesesteaks from Lucky’s and a bbq dinner from Sooey’s (both very short distances away). We so appreciated being able to bring our two dogs. James was a fantastic host and we would absolutely stay here or at another BookSmart property again!

I booked our stay for my family to come enjoy the OBX together for the first time. The house is lovely and well equipped. Perfect location. We arrived hours before TS Ophelia hit. Unfortunately we ended up having to hunker down for 2 days, spending our beach getaway waiting for the storm to pass, but being together and in such a great house made it possible to still enjoy our time. We managed the short walk to the beach a couple times during breaks in the rain, and the dunes did a wonderful job blocking much of the strong winds/threat of storm surge. The management was very responsive and answered any concerns we had leading up to the storm’s arrival. If we had to be stuck in a tropical storm, this is the place to do it. We will certainly be back, and hopefully next time with better weather in tow.

Stayed for 2 nights and this beach house is great! It has all amneties like pool, bath tub and less than 2 mins walk access to beach which is awesome. My friends and families all liked it very much. Safe community and neighborhood.

The house is fantastic! Location is great! Two minute walk to the beach! The kitchen had everything we could’ve wanted, from dishes to spices! The entire place was spotless and so much room. Beds were comfortable and lots of bathrooms. Lower level has pool table and foosball table. Tons of TVs, games and beach chairs. We even saw a high chair if you would need it. I can’t say enough good things. The neighborhood area is very nice and we felt very safe even walking our dog at night. Would be ideal for several families even. Check in and check out were effortless. Would recommend to anyone and hope to stay again the next time we return. Oh and fantastic deck area off one of the bedrooms could see and at night hear the ocean!
