Stayed Nov 14, 2025Everything was perfect from pre-arrival notifications, to instructions, all the way to check out. Communications and assisting us with an early check in were highly responsive and helpful. The online guide was perfect. Everything was clean, incredibly well organized and easy to find. Our family loved winding down the final evening with a movie and a board game in the spacious living room. The welcome packs of supplies came in extremely handy. We will be back in the future to this beautiful historic home.

Stayed Dec 31, 2024We had the spectacular opportunity to come to Annapolis right after Christmas. All the lights still up and such a magical town. But really what made the trip for us was the Hanover House! This historic home is so beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable. You feel like you step back in time, but with all the modern luxuries. The beds are extremely comfortable, the bathrooms very current, and the kitchen entertains very well for any size crowd. There's a fun bar too that you can pull up to while people are cooking! The backyard has plenty of seating , a table, and a grill. And one of our favorite things is the fire pit, which is a bit removed from the house underneath a gorgeous huge tree. The living room has a very comfortable sectional sofa that we were able to accommodate our whole group and enjoy all the New Year's football games! Location cannot be topped! It's just steps from downtown, as well as Historic Annapolis and the US Naval Academy. Each morning we would step out the front door to see the sunrise over the Naval Academy chapel and hear the national anthem! It's so much fun to come here because you never need a car! The charm of walking to the Hanover and into town etc. was so unique for us coming from the city! Also, the management company did a wonderful job in responding to a few of the needs we had while we were there. Hope we get to come back soon!

Stayed Dec 27, 2024Property was in close proximity to all of Annapolis attractions, about a 15 minute walk to Main St, shops and bars. Property has been nicely updated and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Stayed Dec 6, 2024The property was very clean. Nice historic feeling to the place with its pine floors (although stairs are steep and narrow) yet kitchen & bathrooms very updated and new. We all commented how nice the outdoor space in the back looked - would like to return in warmer weather to use it! The beds were super comfortable. We were there on a very cold weekend and the main level stayed pretty cool while the upstairs was comfortable (there was 1 thermostat and we didn't want to turn it up too high as it would have gotten very warm upstairs.) We needed an extra layer to socialize on the main level. It wasn't too much of an issue for our group as we weren't there too much. The location was great! (We enjoyed hearing the national anthem every morning from the Yard.) Very walkable to/from downtown.

Stayed Nov 1, 2024Perfect spot for easy access to USNA Yard through gate 3 for those with a CAC. Up to two hours of parking along street at a time. Easy 7 min walk to garage parking on other side of nearby St Johns College that is free over night.

Stayed Apr 19, 2024The Hanover House was extremely well-appointed and perfectly situated in Downtown Annapolis. It was immaculate and spacious - plenty of room for a family and/or friends get-together. The only challenge, which is the case for nearly all properties Downtown, was lack of adjacent parking. There are, however, some nearby garages and USNA directly across the street (if you are a DoD member). I definitely recommend and would stay here again. Thank you!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Everything was great at Hanover house. It was spotless and smelled clean and fresh when we arrived. The beds were comfortable. The layout was nice and fit 7 of us with no problem. The updated and well-appointed bathrooms made a huge difference in comparison to other rentals. The location is great. Easy walking to everything downtown. The pedestrian gate (gate 3) to USNA only allows you to exit so you’ll need to walk to gate 1 to enter if you don’t have a military ID or pass. But it was convenient for accessing the yard nonetheless. It would be nice if a parking spot was included but it seems it’s rare for the area. We preferred parking on the street in front of St. John’s rather than the parking deck because it was free until 10am versus 6am.
