ABOUT THE HOUSE
Stained glass French doors lead to the main living area, where oversized windows flood the room with sunlight. A central stone fireplace extends to the high ceilings.
Up to nine guests can sink into the plush sectional and armchairs to enjoy good company and conversation. An additional sitting area features a 55” flat screen TV and three cushioned wicker chairs around a circular table.
Prepare family meals in an open kitchen with a center island and a full suite of appliances, including a French-door fridge. The cabinets are stocked with all the cookware and dishes you’ll need; even a waffle iron and blender are at the ready. A breakfast bar with three chairs provides a perch for morning coffee.
Enjoy home-cooked meals in the dining area, where a stained glass pendant light hangs above a table set for eight.
Three decks on the main level make it easy to spread out and take in the fresh air. The first deck is an intimate space for four to sit and chat at a wood table, while the second offers a picnic-style table and gas grill. The sprawling third deck treats guests to captivating ocean views; relax in one of the three Adirondack chairs or gather at the dining table for five.
Upstairs, a second living area invites you to select a good read from the wall of bookshelves and curl up on the sectional sofa by another stone fireplace. A futon converts to a full bed and affords some of the best views of the ocean, while an armchair and writing desk offer additional seating options.
Find one bedroom on the main level and two bedrooms on the second floor. The first-floor bedroom features a queen bed, a full-size sleeper sofa, and two closets. A guest bathroom in the hallway is configured with a soaking tub and a shower.
On the second floor, a king-size master boasts a 32” flat screen TV, a walk-in closet, and an en-suite bath with jetted tub.
Sleep comfortably in the spacious third bedroom with two twin beds, two armchairs, a large closet, and soaring ceilings. Glass doors lead out to a second-story deck. In the hallway, a guest bathroom includes a pedestal sink, heated towel rack, and walk-in shower.
A private guest studio attached to the home features beamed ceilings, a full-size futon, and a kitchenette with sink and mini fridge. Spend quiet mornings at a bistro table with two chairs, and refresh in a private bathroom with tub/shower combo.
Extras include a washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, and driveway parking for up to three vehicles.
Please note that there is some residential development in the neighborhood and there may be active construction on adjacent properties.

My family and I loved this place so much that we definitely want to come back and stay again. Beach combing was fun looking for interesting rocks and seaglass. It was also nice sitting out the huge rocks and admiring the water. Driving around the town of Boothbay was amazing. The people were so friendly and the town has alot of charm. The house was another part of the trip that made it memorable. It had plenty of windows to be able to get a view of the water. The house was well equipped and the property manager was very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. We'll definitely choose this house again if we come back to stay in Boothbay.
View, quietness and location
Property is as in a beautiful setting. Great views of ocean activity such as lobster boats checking traps and a pathway to the water for a closer view. Property is well maintained and kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances. We look forward to a return next year.
Would I recommend this home? Yes but with some serious caveats that should be checked by any potential renter before making a payment. The location is very convenient. The view from the house is spectacular. The house is very spacious and the kitchen is well stocked for all our needs. The main living area is on two levels, so it would be difficult for someone with mobility issues to stay here. With all of that said, given the cost of the house isn't justified with all the issues we had. The house on the surface was clean but a closer look revealed dust and cobwebs. Screens were torn and missing. The was no working TV in the great room even though we were promised it would be replaced. The deck furniture was old and cheap. The lighting was poor throughout, especially on the top floor. There was no shower in the primary bath and no door on the primary bedroom. The wifi was very poor. For the price we paid, we should not have faced any of these issues.
Great scenery. TV on first floor did not work. Contacted Vacasa and were told they would text directions. Did not happen. They credited our account, I am told. Have not verified yet. The onsite apartment was not usable: moldy odor, dank. Downstairs bedroom had queen bed and a ladder to a loft. Not for the faint of heart. Quiet street, great for walking our dog. Friendly neighbors. Internet not protected, so unusable for checking on sensitive matters.
The house is on a huge piece of property on the water in Wast BoothBay, architecturally like a Frank Wright house BUT it was built in 1990 and hasn’t been updated. It’s needs some TLC. We enjoyed the location and views from the deck and the fact that one has access to the water, BUT the house needs to be updated.
Beautiful home but it needs a little work, specifically replacing all of the screens missing or damaged. It was hot and humid the week we were there and w/ no AC, the lack of screens in the doors and windows made it decidedly uncomfortable. Also, w/ no AC, it would be helpful to have fans available for guests to use. Fortunately we brought our own.
The location is gorgeous with many views of the ocean. There were tide pools for the kids to play in when we were there. Two area of grass for volleyball or outdoor games. Plenty of sitting areas for large groups. The area was very clean as wel! There was basically no Wi-Fi and the two tvs they had were extremely outdated. While we weren’t there to watch tv, we have teenagers and they do appreciate a show or two, as well as Wi-Fi when we are relaxing at home. The house is very eclectic which was pretty neat!
We loved the location and beautiful ocean views. House was clean and plenty of room for 2 families. Would definitely stay again.
The views are gorgeous. Home was spotless upon arrival. Large home, lots of space for everyone to spread out. Lovely grounds and deck. Beds were comfortable and bed linens were nice. Great water pressure in showers. Kitchen is lacking in cooking utensils and grill was not operable. But we would return!
The house was better than we even expected. The photos do not do it justice! Spectacular views! We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, beautiful architecture, and private setting.
Easy to rent, check in, check out. Wonderful property!
