Private Ocean View Estate in Poipu with A/C, Jacuzzi, & Pool 5 min walk to beach

The house was perfect and had everything you could ever need or want. We had a wonderful stay.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Absolutely, the best home we've ever stayed at. Andy, the host, was so communicative and will ensure everything is going well. There were 10 of us (6 Adults and 4 kids) that stayed 11 nights. Cleanliness, amenities, location, pool, landscaping, ALL PERFECT! The different ocean views were amazing, and the lanai was one of our favorite places to hang out. You can hear the actual waves hit the rocks from across the road. Literally, everything is there for you. It would be shocking if you could not find anything you may need. The ‘chef’ in our family couldn’t believe how well the kitchen was stocked. Tons of large beach towels and 2 sets of washer and dryers (upstairs and downstairs). Our family had a blast playing ping pong and using the wonderful pool/spa. (Read host book to see how to use spa). There are lots of notes that tell you how to use lights, fans etc. My family came together from Australia and Florida, so I feel blessed that this is the home we chose so my grandchildren could finally meet each other. Beautiful home for 8 guests & maybe 2 more: 4 large bedrooms, each with ensuite bath in pristine condition. Another two 1/2 baths/powder rooms, one on each floor. Each full bath included plenty of lucious towels and quality body wash, shampoo and conditioner, Spacious kitchen/eating area: 7 seats at the counter and 8 seats at the dining table - all open to spacious living area.. Fabulous swimming pool (solar heated) and gas-heated in-ground connected spa. Everything was provided including beach towels, lounge chairs, grill, outdoor table, water toys, ping pong table... You can't go wrong. Top of the line kitchen and cookware, including coffee maker, coffee grinder (thanks, as I forgot mine), starter supply of Kauai Coffee beans, and every utensil you'd ever need. Don't miss it: Koi pond at front entrance, exquisite, private landscaping, Oh, and if you're going to the beach, there's a good supply of beach chairs, sand umbrellas and other assorted beach supplies. Look no further! I have stayed in several rentals and this one by a LONG SHOT is the best rental ever! The house was SPOTLESS, so well stocked that honestly there was nothing else needed that they didn’t supply! The communication by the hosts was off the charts amazing! Andy is one of a kind and so helpful! I would give a 100% recommendation for anyone to stay here. We will DEFINITELY be back! Please don’t search for another rental. Just stay at this one! You will not be disappointed!

Our party of six friends were so impressed with the beauty of this property! Gourmet kitchen with supplies galore, beautiful bedrooms with their own bathrooms, expansive areas to retreat and relax, beautiful pool and hot tub, supplies for your every need, and an extra bonus of access to an amazing athletic club nearby. Our host, Andy, is so kind and thoughtful and so attentive to all our needs. A must stay if you are visiting Kauai!!!

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, thoughtfully put together, and in a great location. The host was incredibly attentive and made sure we felt taken care of from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend and we will be booking again. It was very spacious too!

Our stay at Ho’ohu Nani was nothing short of extraordinary. Bringing three generations of our family together under one roof made for a truly unforgettable holiday.The location is ideal—just a short walk to three stunning beaches—and the home itself is beautifully designed, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished. Every detail seemed carefully considered, with amenities that made the experience equally enjoyable for grandparents, parents, and grandchildren alike.We spent our days enjoying the pool, unwinding in the hot tub, and sharing plenty of laughs over croquet and table tennis. It was the perfect setting for both relaxation and family fun.Andy was an exceptional host—warm, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. He made us feel welcome from start to finish.We loved every moment of our stay and will cherish the memories for years to come. We can’t wait to return!

Property is set up great for larger families with 4 distinct suites with bathroom in each. The pool and grounds are beautiful.

This was the absolute best Kauai VRBO experience! Andy is such an accommodating host and provided great information to have the best possible vacation. The home is spacious and provided plenty of room for 8 adults and 2 children. It is a quick walk away from two beaches and there was plenty of beach gear provided (towels, chairs, umbrella, bodyboards, etc.) The house was very clean and well stocked with supplies. We will be recommending Andy's home to anyone looking to stay on this side of the island.

First off. This place should more than 5 stars as it has it all. We found the only place we want to stay in the future when returning to Kauai. The host cater to a truly amazing stay. They use local businesses to introduce guests to some really wonderful things kauai has. For example, the local soaps from Maile or flowers from local florist. The home has it all. Extremely clean and well maintained(this cannot be understated as floors, blinds, screen, hot tub, pool, appliance were are pristine). You wont see everywhere on the island. Owners go out of their way to make sure guest have everything, and we did. Everything for beach or pool we could ask for and our kids loved this place. From ping pong outside and nice yard for them to play in, it was all perfect. We have stayed at several high end homes in Kauai and resorts as well like the St. Regis and 1-Hotel and still this home and owners do it better and we will be back. Thank you

We had a group of 9 (4 kids) and we had the best time! The house was perfect for our mixed group and the kids did not want to ever leave the pool! The house was nicely stocked with some essentials and necessities, especially the kitchen. I would say it was one of the best stocked properties I have ever stayed at. Andy was also very communicative and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The kids review - AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!

Everything stood out!Without a doubt it tops all vacation rentals we’ve ever had! The facilities were superb.Never had a host care more about wanting to make sure their client had a great vacation!!Our flight from Seattle was delayed by 4 hours and did not get to our unit till about 1:00 AM.Before our flight left Andy went the extra mile to ensure we’d have all the information and necessities we’d need to start our vacation the next day! 10 out of 10 in all areas!Thank you Andy & Christine!!

Pleasant home in nice neighborhood that works well for families

Andy was an amazing host from beginning to end. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Endless amenities throughout. The house was well designed, open yet private. We were able to see the sunrise and set and whale watch. The proximity to the beach was a short walk and a must to see the turtles and monk seals. Our stay was magical!

This home was exceptional and had more than everything we needed! We thoroughly loved being able to walk to the beaches and there were boogie boards, sand chairs, wagon and anything and everything we wanted!Our times in the pool and playing yard games was over the moon!This home was perfect for us with plenty of room for everyone!Andy, our host, was delightful, thoughtful and readily available to us!We cannot wait to stay at this perfect home again!

This house is amazing! It is spacious, beautiful, and well-appointed! The views are wonderful! We were able to whale-watch from the house! It is an easy walk down to the beach. The pool was so nice and private. We will definitely stay again if we get back to Kauai!

The house was clean and spacious. The layout provided privacy as well as large open areas for family gathering. The kitchen was equipped with premium cookware and a variety of spices and oils. Andy responded to questions promptly and was a more than gracious host!

This property was fantastic! Our host Andy was exceptional, he was so accommodating and responsive. We had treats and fresh flowers on our arrival which was such a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. He really makes you feel welcome. The house had an abundance of towels, beach items, kitchenware and just everything you need for a very enjoyable and worry free stay. We loved the pool area and hot tub and everything was very clean. It’s also in a great location and close to everything we wanted to see and do. We highly recommend this property and hope to return:) Mahalo!!

We loved everything about this property. Plenty of room with a great layout for families. It was well maintained and had everything we ever needed. The location was great for sunrise and sunset hikes, access to the beach and everything in between. Andy was responsive and super helpful - best place we’ve stayed in Kauai. We will be back!

Property is in excellent conditions and comes with so many extras that are too numerous to mention. The host was easily accessible and simply a great guy. The location is perfect for Poipu vacationers. We had great privacy on the property but were close to everything. Great house, great location and a great host.

What an amazing home to stay in for a family and friend get together. The home is more beautiful thank the pictures. We used the pool and had meals together and the house was equipped with umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards and snorkel gear. I absolutely wanted nothing more as this house had it all. I can’t say enough good things about this house. It’s very high end with everything, from the house itself to towels to appliances. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Andy and his wife were so good to talk to if we had any questions or just to check in to see how our stay was going. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. The house is setup to accommodate multiple families. We had a group of 9 with room to spare. We had 7 adults and 2 children. The big dining table made it nice for family dinners and cards before bed! The pool was a big hit with all of us. Everything you need for the pool is all there. Everything you need for a day at the beach was plentiful. Perfect stay!

My sister and I brought our families to this spectacular house for a vacation to celebrate a lot of graduations. The house is really fantastic-great views and layout for multiple families. There is nothing forgotten here....the host is so kind and thoughtful and left us lots of treats and flowers to kick off the vacation. Andy helped us with everything we asked him and we ended up spending more time at the house than we anticipated because it was so beautiful. We cooked almost all our dinners there in the kitched that was well stocked and enjoyed the sunset every night. They have huge water jugs for the guests which was amazing- we probably went through four in a week. We also had everything we needed to cook delicious meals. The pool is so nice since it is heated plus there is a spa as well. We also had all the coolers, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas and pool toys we needed! The house really made our vacation special and we are grateful for all the help Andy provided with our questions, etc...you will love it and we can't wait to come back!

Simply an amazing property. 8 of us stayed here. Plenty of space, so comfortable, very clean, great location, great pool and the communication with Andy was fantastic. 1st class all the way around. One of the best places we’ve stayed and would recommend to anyone.

My family and I rented this house for a week and it was the perfect place for us. The host, Andy, was great at communicating before, during and after our stay. He recommended restaurants and beaches, and contacted me after my niece left her journal when we left. The house itself is amazing. This was a special trip for my family as we don't take big vacations together often (last one was 10 years ago). Having a private pool and hot tub was great for the kids who were always wanting to be in the water and the grandparents who had troubles navigating the beaches. We cooked daily and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, and the outdoor areas were so relaxing. I can't recommend this house enough. I will definitely rent it again if/when I go back to Kauai. Lastly, the location was within a 5 minute walk to the beach and a short drive to shops and restaurants. It comes with access to an athletic club that we used daily. We had evening flights back to the mainland and spent the time between checkout and heading to the airport at athletic club's pool where we could shower before our flights.

The trip was to celebrate the marriage of my Grandson. Our party consisted of 3 adult generations. This home was perfect. Everything you needed for a weekend at the beach was provided. The host Andy was most helpful. He even provided local treats and fresh flowers for our enjoyment. Best family wedding/vacation ever.

Beautiful property in a perfect location. By far, this VRBO was the most well appointed property I've stayed at in Hawaii, and we have come every year for 15 years. The little things were all thought of, from olive oil, salt and pepper, to beach chairs and umbrellas. Our group of four couples (eight adults) all had our private spaces but the community areas and pool were great as well. Just a short walk to Brenneke's beach or Shipwreck's at the Hyatt. Andy and Sarah were excellent communicators and easy to work with. We will always look to stay here when we return to Poipu.

Better than the pictures! Comfortably accommodated two families of 5. Best stocked kitchen of any VRBO we've stayed at. Great ocean views and super short walk to the beach. I'd stay here again no question.

This a beautiful home with all of the amenities and more than a family would need. Beds were comfy, the tech equipment worked, neighborhood is quiet and lovely, the pool and spa were just right. The Balks are obviously proud of their house and want it to be just right for themselves when they visit and for their guests.

Absolutely loved this house! Has everything you could possibly need and more! The private pool was perfect, sometimes made it hard to leave to go to the beach. The Poipu athletic club was amazing for my teens that like their daily work out. Beds were so comfy and the deck views amazing! We are already coming back in 2027 and can’t wait!

We had a fabulous time staying in this home. The house comes with everything you would need. It’s completely stocked with cooking essentials, beach and pool tools and toys. Every room was clean and had plenty of space. The living area/kitchen is large and perfect for dinners in. We all loved sitting by the pool because of how calm and peaceful the backyard felt. Andy was great about communicating prior to and during our trip, answering any questions we had. We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back!

This home is even better than pictured. It’s incredibly spacious and the layout was perfect for our group with a primary bedroom on each floor. The pool and spa were used often! The kitchen was stocked with essentials. It was truly like staying in the home of someone we knew personally.Andy has set a new bar for me with VRBO hosts. Checkin and communication before arrival was easy and timely, and he made sure we were ok during the trip too. He was super accommodating.I hope my family can make it back to this home and island someday. It was an unforgettable trip.

We absolutely loved this house - my kids said it is their favorite of all the places that we have stayed!! Pros: Lots of room with spacious bedrooms and a bathroom for each (plenty of room for the 10 of us). Deck with great views of the ocean. And the pool (!!!) - beautiful setting and warm enough to swim even in January. The location of the house is ideal. It was a 5-10 min. walk to our favorite of all the beaches where we could ride the waves next to the sea turtles. We had a golf cart which was great for the little ones but the walk is easy. We did not want to go home and would love to return!!! Thank you!

Absolutely loved the property! Host Andy made sure our extended family (6 adults and 5 kids under 6) had the best Christmas ever. We absolutely loved the house, the pool, hot tub, beach equipment and everything else. No detail was overlooked from a Christmas tree to a stocked kitchen. We would highly recommend this property if you want a stress free vacation with a large group. Easy walk to beach and close to everything in Poipu. Being able to use the Poipu Beach Club was an added bonus. 5 stars all the way around!

The house was beautiful and amazingly well equipped. We could have traveled with just our bathing suits and we'd not have needed anything. The location perfect. Neighborhood is quiet and private. Property owner helpful and great to work with. We travel to the islands annually and it was the best of experiences. Aloha!!

This property is outstanding in every aspect. Clean. Ideal Location. Great home layout with good bedrooms with very comfortable beds with premium linend, 6 bathrooms.Very Very Well Furnished and Equipped (from the abundant spices and equipment in the kitchen, to a private pool and spa with ample towels, comfortable gathering spots with great seating, BBQ, Beach Supplies: boogie boards, surf boards, towels, beach chairs + a foldable wagon to haul all the stuff, etc etc). Laundry upstairs and down + laundry soaps. Ample paper products. And really the best host anyone would wish for. Perfect in EVERY way! All that resulitng in a great value. We will definately return. Near super beaches, hiking, good restaurants, yet quiet and peacefull. We easily found everything we needed for our family of 10 to relax, prepare meals, explore Kauai.... and were sad to have to go back to work at the end of this teriffic vacation.
