Private Luxury Oceanfront Home/Villa in Santa Teresa

This is absolutely the most amazing place. It’s on the water and the service is remarkable with daily housekeeping, and grounds. The property manager is so fantastic and helps setup anything your heart desires. We come to Costa Rica yearly and this is the best place we have stayed at and world class service. We will be back for sure!

Our family vacations to Costa Rica every year, but travels to new towns every time. This is by far the best house we have experienced. The property is beautiful, just steps from the beach, and an easy walk to town! The staff was wonderful, maintained the property, and kept the house clean for us every day during our stay. Bernett (the property manager) was always quick to respond to our needs and book us transportation, excursions, or chefs. We highly recommend getting a massage by the beach (oh, so relaxing!). We loved the town of Santa Teresa - it is not quite as developed (especially the roads) for tourists as other towns we have visited, but it provides a more local experience that we enjoyed the most. We went during their rainy season and somehow got lucky to have sunny and warm days the entire trip. We would love to come back to Santa Teresa and see its growth in the next five years! The minute you arrive into Villa Paraíso you feel relaxed. It has a huge motor court for more than 10 cars. The trees and landscaping throughout the property are stunning. There is an abundance of air conditioning units throughout the house that work great. We actually got cold. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make meals. The pool was great for kids and adults and the jacuzzi was a plus. The beach was great. Beautiful sunsets and great surf for my son. You can walk to restaurants and super markets with no issues. It is in the north end and located perfectly so you’re not stuck in the main road traffic. Do not hesitate to book this house. It is beyond more beautiful than the pictures.

This was our first time in Costa Rica. Getting through the town of Santa Teresa in the rainy season was a challenge, but well worth the challenge because the house, the staff, and all the amenities were above and beyond all expectations! Bernett was there anytime we had questions or needed him. The housekeeper and grounds keeper worked hard to keep up with 6 adults and 5 children:) Rodrigo Soriano, (Angelica, and Gary his 2 helpers) prepared all our dinners! They were fabulous and I highly recommend contacting him if you’re ever in the area. We would return to this home again. We loved our stay and loved the people who made it a true vacation.

Villa Paraiso is fantastic as is the full staff that supports the property. Tons of space for everyone to spread out, with ample seating areas inside and out. Right on the ocean - but also nestled in the tropical gardens. It has all the amenities you could ask for, and everything is clean and in good working condition. We would come back in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing time. The house is perfectly located for beach and town but is also just great for hanging out. The house manager made great recommendations and helped us plan some fun excursions and meals. If something went awry he was there to help. We loved it!

The house is beautiful, the location is spectacular, and the staff is the best. A totally stress-free vacation in paradise for our family of 7. Highly recommended. Spectacular beach, surfing, food (excellent, local, fresh, healthy), yoga, fishing, hiking in nature reserves, snorkeling. Very easy to relax and unwind, or venture out for some great adventures and experiences. Andrea, who manages the house, is the best - she can help you with any arrangements you need help with, and knows where to go for the best of anything. The next time we go I will let her make all of local arrangements. And I very highly recommend you let her bring in local cooks/chefs for delicious fresh breakfast or lunch some days, and Chef Laura for few dinners at the beach! Laura is truly word class – her dinners were truly excellent, one-of-a-kind, fresh, local and memorable – some of the best meals we have had anywhere any time. The housekeeper and gardener also were also terrific – quietly making sure everything ran perfectly and peacefully, with a warm smile. By the end of the trip we felt like family. Any negatives? Not really. There will be some bumpy roads and slow pace in town, but that’s why you came here. Our family travels frequently but we don’t go back to many places twice, however we will return here. They voted Villa Paraiso as our best family vacation. Thank you Villa Paraiso! Pura Vida!!
