Private Logcabin All To Yourself With Lake View

It was a beautiful property and house, everything was amazing except for a loud banging at night we couldn’t place. I don’t know if the wind was blowing something outside or what but I made it hard to sleep, other than that it was AMAZING!!!

This little cabin is decorated so cozy, it's quiet & serene, very peaceful and the fireplace was amazing. So nice on a Saturday afternoon coming back from a much needed massage and lunch to take a nice quiet nap in front of the fireplace while it's crackling and popping. We will be back!

Private and peaceful. Loved the dock on the pond and the fire pit. The gravel road was a little steep but we made it out after a couple of tries.

The entire properly was flawless. The communication was perfect. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. We will definitely be back.

Very peaceful and well kept. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need to cook. Shady places to sit and relax outside, trails to explore. Great fire pit and fireplace for smores.

Really fun rental for a family getaway. Very quaint and cozy with a stone fireplace, kid-friendly games, and beautiful property to roam. We were close enough to town to shop and enjoy restaurants but also remote enough to enjoy peace and quiet while hiking the property and toasting marshmallows over the fire pit. Highly recommend!

Kitchen is doable. Very comfortable and enjoyed sitting around the campfire. Very peaceful and relaxing

Great getaway. Property is beautiful and peaceful. Lightning in the cabin is somewhat dim and the beds aren’t that comfortable, but look, it’s a cabin and not a 5 star hotel. Our kids loved it and it was just what we expected and hoped it would be. Hermann itself wasn’t that impressive. We prepared most of our meals and it is always a fun experience cooking on the open campfire, as well as s’mores. We’ll likely stay again. If you’re looking to unplug and get out of the city, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. The fall and spring are optimal times. If you fish, bring a few spinners and lures for bass and catfish. All catch and release unless you’re a bluegill keeper lol. Kids loved the fishing and exploring the area. Someone recommended Ruthie’s in Rosebud, MO, which is about 20 min away….i wasn’t impressed, but it could be a fun outing if you enjoy seriously mediocre diner food. Personally, I enjoy staying at the cabin and enjoying the peacefulness. We did hit up Swiss Meats and picked items to cook on the fire, which I highly recommend.

The cabin was BEAUTIFUL. You can tell a lot of love went into decorating the cabin. Swiss meats down the road is worth stopping for! The hosts were very helpful during the whole process. Will absolutely be looking to stay here again next year!

We decide to stay there while in the area for a wedding. Great place, especially nice escape after the wedding festivities. Wish we had more time to enjoy the property. Road were a little rough getting to it especially for low profile cars. Great experience. Cars.Greaexperience.expeWish

This was my 2nd stay at this beautiful cabin and it never is long enough. Diana is a fantastic and generous host and the property is beautiful year round. This time we were treated to some gorgeous fall foliage. Already looking forward to visiting again.
