Private location, Central A/C, Amazing Cliff Top Views, National Forest Access

Wonderful place to stay just outside of Durango. Quiet and relaxing with beautiful views. Hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, and the house was comfortable and well appointed. We loved our stay and look forward to visiting again.

Remarkable property. No minor detail missed. Comfortable bedding, everything you would need and then some in the kitchen; outside space was comfortable with views of the mountains; hiking trail at end of driveway; not a far drive from Durango; close to hot springs; Charles and Jen were very responsive to any questions; perfect place to get away and feel like you’re in your own Oasis. Beautiful landscaping and personal touch of flowers and plants both inside and out. Flying fishing; Mesa Verde ; RZR trip on 60 mile Alpine Loop; Ouray; Telluride and Rodeo in Durango .

What an amazing home with amazing views. Great location just North of downtown and easy to get everywhere. We felt safe and secure with the home being in a gated area and the home was so clean! We will certainly be back!

Wow, what a beautiful home and a wonderful experience. We like to rent a place like this and then invite our adult children and their partners to join us.The layout was perfect for this. We could all come together in the central Great room or we could just sort of hang out in the bedrooms, reading and things . But the star of the show was the back deck. I think it might be one of the most beautiful views I’ve seen in Colorado. Whether we were watching the historic Narrow gauge train chugging up through the valley, having a beer in the afternoon, or, stargazing in the evening-– it was perfect! There is more I could say, but I will stop there. One thing I will add, you literally have access to federal forest land— the trailhead begins steps from the front door. We will definitely come back!

So much like home! We truly relaxed and rested. Cooked several meals in the well stocked kitchen. The beds were awesome! We hiked just steps from the door. The views from every window will not disappoint! And you can hear the train every morning We highly recommend this home!!

Jen's place was impeccably clean, wonderfully decorated, was fully stocked with essentials and had a spectacular mountain view! We appreciated the end of block privacy with gated entrance and comfortable beds. We were on the go quite a bit and the drive to Durango and other sights was easy. We love her attention to details and her love for flowers! Thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful home!
