Great communication with host, property is in a great location, both proximity to downtown and JTNP.

The National Park entrance near the home was great/very close. LOTS of people visiting at Christmas so would avoid the main attractions and get in/out early if you can. Too bad the Visitor's Center is outside the Park....traffic made it hard to go in/out of the Park but we made the best of it. Watch out for coyotes at night if you have dogs (we tried star gazing in the Park). VRBO was super fun for our adult kids-hot tub was great after a quick dip in the chilly pool. The pool table and dart board were fun. Lots of space to spread out and relax. Loved the record player/spinning the vinyl. Great parking, lots of nearby stores and fun restaurants/shops to explore. Loved Grnd Squirrel's Open Mic night and went to live music show at Pappy & Harriet's.

Everything we wished for and more! This place was perfect for our 2 night stay to explore Joshua Tree national park and surroundings. Very clean, spacious, many games/activities (pool, darts, bean bag toss, board games we didn’t play, fire pit we didn’t use), great garden. Hot tub very welcome in the evenings, and cool pool to lounge in during the heat of the day. The host was super responsive and patient.

Our party of three (6yo in tow)enjoyed the pool, puzzles, record player, organ, darts, and pool table along with the space to spread ourselves out around the house. We were there for one night, so we took it all in briefly. We would definitely go back for a longer stay the next time. Our host was apprehensive to host us at first as I was a new user to the app (no rating) but was very communicative and informative regarding our stay and the house and I'm appreciative they gave us a chance to stay.The only star I took off for cleanliness was due to the dining table being sticky, finding a half empty bottle of soda in the kitchen, many cigarette butts on the rear porch, and the many bugs in the pool. There was a mostly working pool skimmer I was able to use, so that helped a bit. For the price of the cleaning fee, I'd expect a clean dining table at least.

Great place for two couples. We stayed overnight with some friends. The weather was too cold to enjoy the pool, but we did get to relax in the spa. The pool table made for a fun night as well. Would definitely stay here again if out in the area.

This was our second time staying here. It is clean, well equipped, and conveniently located near the town and the National Park. It is a fantastic way to disconnect and relax. Thanks again!

Older as described but upgraded where necessary. Quirky in all the right ways. The game room was the place to be. Just a few miles from the park entrance, close enough to stores etc, but not in the mix of everything if that’s your preference. Timely communication from owner as needed. Pet friendly, great fenced in space for our dog.

Decor, personal touches, vibe, etc. of this place was wonderful. The desert landscaping was gorgeous. Pool and hot tub were both great, cooling in the home was quite sufficient. We loved this stay.

The pictures really didn’t do this house proper justice! We had such a great stay here over the weekend! The game room with the pool table was much larger and comfier than it appears in pictures. It was such an ideal room to hang out in at night after lounging outside in the pool all day. The little pops of color outside made this such a picturesque little desert retreat! Security fence kept everything safe and locked in. It feels fairly private but you are not far from any shopping/grocery you may need. Kitchen was stocked for easy cooking. Would definitely love to stay here again!
