Ybor Roost is our tribute to Ybor—quirky, authentic, and shaped by the neighborhood around it. A local artist designed this 495-square-foot home around original rooster-themed work inspired by the neighborhood. Outside, the fully fenced backyard is entirely yours, with a private hot tub beneath a bougainvillea-covered pergola, string lights, and an outdoor table.



Ybor Roost gets its name from the wild roosters Cuban, Spanish, and Italian cigar workers brought to Ybor inthe 1880s. Their descendants still roam the brick streets today, protected by city law.

THE BACKYARD OASIS



The private, fully fenced backyard is the heart of the property. The hot tub sits beneath a pergola draped in blooming bougainvillea, with string lights overhead and an outdoor table nearby. Ring the vintage bell and see whether Ybor's famous free-roaming chickens wander past.



BEFORE OR AFTER A CRUISE



Ybor Roost is especially convenient for couples who need a memorable overnight before or after a Port Tampa Bay cruise. When one-night stays are available, settle in instead of booking a generic airport hotel. The cruise terminals and Florida Aquarium are about 2 miles away and are also served by the free TECO streetcar.
