Private home on beautiful Mountain Island Lake in Charlotte

I can say this was one of the best stays I've had! The hosts were extremely accommodating to me and my family. The fishing was excellent. Make sure to ask about the boat rental that's on the property, huge plus!. The house and property was immaculate. I would definitely stay again next time I'm in Charlotte

Beautiful home and lake access. The kitchen was well equipped, laundry room had everything we needed. The hosts were so friendly and communication was easy. We did not want to leave! I would highly recommend this home if you want a fun, relaxing and stress free vacation.

Host communication was wonderful. Views, backyard and lake access were very relaxing and enjoyable and good for having a pet with you. The fenced in yard was a huge benefit. Check in and check out were easy. Fully stocked with lots of things. Beds were hit or miss, but that's always subjective.

Host was very welcoming and informative. Everything was just as pictured, cute and perfect for a lovely stay with family. Wish we would have had more time to stay it was so comfortable. Located right on the lake, beautiful to wake up to and have coffee on back porch. We will definitely come back this summer to utilize the advantages of being on the lake. Would recommend this stay to everyone. Neighborhood is also very quiet and secluded.

Christina was very helpful and friendly,we had a wonderful time. My grandson loved fishing off the dock. Would definitely recommend it to families that love relaxing outside in the sun by the water. Thank you again!

We enjoyed this charming cottage while visiting family in the Charlotte area for Thanksgiving. The lake was a nice setting for our stay & we liked walking through the neighborhood and on the small wooded trail nearby. Our kids are in their 20’s, but we could see how this would be a wonderful setup for younger kids. Our host was very welcoming & helpful.

Fabulous home with an amazing view of the lake! We adored this for our family vacation. The kids had lots to play with and loved exploring the yard. The extras for the kids on their room as well as the cute sleeping arrangement was perfect for our 9, 6, 4, and 21 month old. We loved the spaciousness of the living/dining/kitchen area. The porch was the gathering place daily and all ages loved the porch swings! We had a fire outside and made s’mores one day. The kids helped pick up kindling and start the fire with the wood that was provided. Thanks for having the marshmallow roasting sticks to use! Everyone had their own sleeping space and the use of the laundry room really helped. It couldn’t have been a better, more relaxing vacation.

We moved our son to UNCC for school and spent a few days together getting some R&R. This home is fantastic with a beautiful view of the lake and very peaceful. I highly recommend staying here rather than any hotel.

The entire facility and setting are very comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake and sitting on the deck by the lake.

Wonderful place to stay with family and friends!

A rustic setting and house. Our two highlights were the enclosed back porch and the beautiful deck overlooking the water. However, a few things would have made our time more enjoyable. The houseboat parked on the dock took up half the space and eliminated the potential for our grandchildren to get to the water, fishing, etc. Deck furniture could have used additional cushions, and there was no umbrella over the table, as pictured. The Weber grill had a lot of grease buildup, causing major flare-ups, plus the grease tray needs to be emptied. Another small issue, the kitchen was not too organized. Dishes, bowls, etc., were stored in various cabinets, resulting in additional time for meal prep. I trust the owners will consider making a few changes to enhance the enjoyment of the next family.

Our stay at this cozy beautiful lake house was amazing. It is so cute, the outdoor lakeside is beautiful and we had everything we needed for cooking our meals. The house is well stocked and has many little extras that will delight. Every detail was well thought out to give the best experience possible. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our time immensely while in town for Morgan Wallen. Owners were very timely in responding and conscious of our personal comfort. Beautiful area. Would definitely recommend a stay.

This house is adorable, cozy, and felt like home! Perfect for children! The dock was fun and had plenty of shade to escape the sun. There were also tons of paddle boards and kayaks to enjoy the calm waters. Highly recommend for any easy lake getaway.
