Steven Yang promised to clean and disinfect the rental, but it wasn't done. The refrigerator hadn't been cleaned. It had yellow food stuck to the bottom inside it and in other places. The ceiling fan in the bedroom had a quarter inch of dust stuck the the fan blade edges; it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in two years. Inch long pieces of dust fell off it onto the bed. The floor under the bed also looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a couple of years, lots of lumps of dust and other stuff on the floor. The bottom of the trash can under the trash bag had dried up food over most of it and food stuck to the sides that ran down it. The couch, under the cover on it, hadn't been cleaned, and it had what looked like dog hairs stuck to it. With a pandemic going on, cleaning the unit should be a mandatory requirement. I have photos of all of this, and I would post them if I could. It was not a good place to stay. Mr. Yang told us he had a few rentals, and that we were his first VRBO guests. Someone with rentals should know to inspect them before leasing them to the next tenant. There is no way the unit had been inspected by the owner before he rented it to us. I think the VRBO company should ban Steven Yang from ever renting again.
