The house was nice and clean and was overall good. The dock space was disappointing as we booked this house for a fishing tournament out of Indian river. The water is so shallow getting in and out of the neighborhood that you can only get a boat in and out at high tide. This did not work for us so we had to trailer the boat to Delaware state park and buy the permit to launch there every day. Also not a big deal but the add lists a dishwasher in the checkout instructions but there is no dishwasher at this house.
We are delighted to find this little place. We had mechanical issues with our boat, so we didn't get a chance to put in and use the dock, but I have no doubt that if we had it would have been just great, too. Our children had a great time catching and releasing critters in the canal. We appreciated the very quiet neighborhood. It was about 20 minutes to drive and park in to Bethany Beach and about the same to the Indian River inlet. Grocery, gas, food, ice cream, and mini golf were even closer and convenient. Some areas I'd recommend for improvement are: the washer/dryer. It could use an upgrade. And having some beach chairs or boogie boards available to borrow. We will definitely look at staying here again in the future.
Overall a great place to stay with a family,. The house is on a nice quiet street. The neighbors are friendly. The location is close to many activities.
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend. The home is located in a quiet private community. Just what we were looking for. A very clean home with comfortable mattresses , nice decor and everything you need to cook your meals. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the canal and bay every morning while eating our breakfast . It was very peaceful. If you have any watercraft you can easily use the dock to launch and go. We would definitely come back again for a longer stay.
