Private cabin amongst the Pines & Wildlife, close to lakes and town amenities

The Cabin in Show Low was just what we needed to get away from the heat in the valley. It is tucked away, surrounded by mature trees & a cute backyard where we would drink our morning cup of coffee on the bench, watching the birds & the butterflies. We really enjoyed the quiet surroundings, and Cathy was very responsive to any questions I had. The house was clean, & looks like things have been updated, just needing to finish up with the dishwasher; this wasn't an issue for us at all. I would gladly return here again, maybe in the fall for the colors!

Amazing location and amazing cabin. Definitely relaxing and that requires a nice clean, inviting ambience and comfortable beds. The moment you see it driving up to it, you feel at home. Truly such a wonderful place.I hope we can come back in the future. Cathy, you've been wonderful for allowing people to stay here!

Great location, nice clean home

Loved the area and the place that we stayed in was fantastic. Really nice large bedrooms. Everything in the kitchen was there if you needed it and very relaxing on the back porch amongst all the pine trees definitely would recommend to anyone and would like to probably rebook again when I go back up there within a year

Large beautiful home, plenty of space for everyone. The outdoor space was incredible, so peaceful. The boys loved playing cards out on the deck.

It met all of our needs. So enjoyed sitting on the back deck listening to the wind in the pines. Squirrels, chippers and birds abound.

The house was perfect for our family! Great location and very nice and cozy. We would love to stay here again!

Met family for Labor Day Weekend. The house had everything we could ask for. Loved watching the birds at the bird feeders. Can't wait for our next visit!

The property owner is absolutely wonderful. She communicates professionally and quickly and addressed all our needs. I wish I had known some things before booking, so I want to put an honest review. The property is in an amazing location. The tress surrounding are beautiful and it feels secluded, yet close to everything. It is getting older. The deck is dirty and the paint peeling. The grill is dirty too.The kitchen drawers are not opening/closing well and everything feels a little sticky. The pots and pans have been mistreated and they are scratched up and losing their teflon coating, I wasn’t comfortable using them but I am pretty picky. The whisks were rusty and there were only 4 forks in the whole house. There was a large amount of open, expired food in the pantry that makes it feel unclean. If you don’t plan to use the kitchen, this is a great place to stay. I was needing to cook for 9 people (grandparents live in town) for 7 days, so this was not easy with the condition of the kitchen. The beds are comfortable and we loved having 2 kings and 2 twins. Great layout. The sheets though are pilling and stained. They should be replaced. The AC had issues that were addressed quickly. I don’t think this is reason to not stay here, but you will want to know these things and decide if it suits your needs and is worth what you will pay. We stayed here a few years ago and it was good. Unfortunately, it appears other renters have abused the home and it hasn’t been addressed yet.
