Private Brookside Getaway

First of all, the house was just wonderful. We have rented a number of homes over the years, and this property is now high on the list. The house was clean and comfortable, and Mary was great with answering our questions. Definitely would love to return and in fact already recommended it to a friend. A beautiful year-round home. Rooms were clean. No issues with house. Area was a bit tired. Access road is terrible.

We stayed here for a gorgeous long-weekend wedding at The Barn on the Pemi.Our host, Marycia, was always immediately responsive with the few questions we had. Everything is laid out beautifully, and nothing has been left out. Her place is comfortable and cozy, and exactly as described.

Beautiful home for weekend getaway or longer. Central to everything! Minutes from Newfound Lake. Close to downtown Plymouth shops and restaurants. Home was modern, extremely comfortable, clean with attention to every detail.

Perfect place to stay for a weekend wedding we had in the area! Beautiful house and Marysia was very responsive! Definitely a nice property next to a babbling brook. Quiet place. The only downside is the road leading to her place is in terrible shape and risk of bottoming out your car is high.

Location & property were perfect for our trip. I only gave 4 stars for location for visitors that don’t have 4WD &/or high profile vehicles and for those not familiar with ski areas. (There are two ways to home and one is a very bumpy ski road). Perfect living room for family time. Great communication with owner. Would stay again.

The property was very clean and very nice . Close to ski area . The porch was not shoveled which was disappointing. Also seemed to be a lot of rules associated with this property on how to throw away trash etc which made it not as relaxing as I would have liked

Wonderful weekend! This is truly a great place with a great host!

We stayed for three nights, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day/Night. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay. Even though it was a holiday week, Marysia was very quick to respond to questions. We are five adults and were in the area to visit family and friends. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location, close to Plymouth State, very clean up to date house in a very quiet neighborhood. We were 6 adults plenty of space and very comfortable, will definitely be back.

The house was lovely and the perfect size for our family of 5 adults who were in the area for a wedding. Cute place, very clean and all the amenities you need! Would definitely recommend staying here.

The cottage was perfect for us visiting family in Alexandria Nee Hampshire. It was great to have a split sleeping situation. Young people in the basement. The place worked perfectly for our family.

My family + in-laws had a wonderful stay! We had plenty of space for our group of 6, including 2 young kids. Marysia was very responsive, which I so appreciated. We felt secluded, which was a nice change of pace, but were still not far from all that the surrounding area has to offer. We'd definitely stay at Brookside Getaway again!

Very well-maintained and updated mountain cabin with a great location. Beautiful views off the back deck of a boulder-strewn mountain creek. The decorating and amenities in all of the rooms were very nice. The Kitchen was well equipped, plenty of large TVs that we never turned on because we were either running around enjoying the area or sitting on the deck relaxing.

Visiting with college friends that we haven't seen in decades! Was a lovely, and comfortable place to stay and listening to the creek in the back(especially after a big rain!) was magical! We hope to visit again!
