Private Boat Slip, Dock: Waterfront Lake Ozark Gem

Repeat tenants! We love the location of this home and everything it offers for our family of 6. Jim, the owner, is incredibly communicative and went over and beyond for us to make sure we were comfortable. The back stairs to the dock are a bit steep, but was no problem for our crew, just something to keep in mind if traveling with someone who has a hard time with stairs. The dock is great if you have jet skis like we do, a lot of extra space for them and a boat. Extra chairs and kayaks were great for entertaining our guests. Overall great experience and we will be back.

The host was very generous with time by letting us stay later than the check out time. Communication with him was easy and quick responses. The house was perfect for 6 of us, a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer area, and a stocked living room with movies and games! Would 1000% stay here again!

This house was the perfect stay for us. Communication with Jim was great and he was so helpful. The house was clean. We had a boat and the boat ramp is easy to get to. The dock was fun to swim off of and just relax in the water. We would definitely stay again!

This is a great place to stay with a great owner. This place is in a beautiful location on the lake. It is quieter and more family friendly than other places yet, it is just a little ways from the main channel with all of the big boats. The house and dock were clean. The owner left some chairs for us to use on the dock and few other water things that you can use. The kitchen had a few of the odds and ends that you hate buying for your stay, knowing you either have to carry it home or throw it away. The fire pit area is gorgeous with comfortable chairs and there is firewood provided for your use. One thing that renters should be aware of is the walk from the house to the lake is down a steep hill with stairs. A lot of stairs actually. It wasn't an issue for us, but if you, or someone in your party has issues using normal stairs, you might want to rethink this one. I only say it because i know if my mom had come along this time, she would have struggled after two knee replacements. Overall a great place to stay if you want a quieter trip to lake of the Ozarks, but within driving or boating distance to all of the bigger attractions with more people.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was ideal- hidden but near so much. The home was great. You definitely get your workout with all of the stairs, but you would be hard pressed to find a home without stairs in this location. The owner was very responsive and super helpful. We even left something at the house and he was so helpful in sending it back to us. I would stay here again. Some people complain about the spiders and the steps- it comes with the territory. If it bothers you, I would find a different location all together to visit.

We came to stay for a long weekend with friends. The house was great. Good location, easy to get to & plenty of parking for cars & boat trailer. Boat ramp was close & easy to get in & out. The cove this house is located in does get very busy with skiers, tubers, and wakeboarders on the weekend. Lots of traffic in & out which did make it difficult docking & securing our boat in the slip. Make sure you tone up your quads & glutes before your stay because the stairs to the house from the dock are very steep. You’ll get your workout in. The steep climb & busy cove are the only reason I gave this rental 4 stars. It was a great little place for a getaway with friends!

This home is nestled amidst the beautiful hills of Lake of the Ozarks. The lake home is a true gem for anyone seeking a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Our recent visit has us eager to return. Our host was very quick to respond to all the questions we had prior to arriving. He shared information on boat rentals, golf courses in the vicinity and many other questions that arose prior to our arrival. Throughout our stay the hospitality of the host was exceptional! He was VERY accommodating and wanted to make sure our visit was perfect. His passion for the property and dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction.The tranquility of this location is unparalleled, making it an ideal escape with ample parking. The firepit had plenty of wood and this area was a very spacious and inviting area with all of the amenities we needed. The private dock has ample space for a boat and jet ski and was perfect for our boat rental.There are many local stores within a few miles of the home as well as bars and restaurants close by. If you are looking for a tranquil destination for your next trip to Lake of the Ozarks with everything you need, book this home. You will not be disappointed. We are already planning our trip to this location next year.
