Private Beach Park, Sauna, Hot Tub, Dog & Family Friendly

Everything was perfect. Great location, friendly host, great explanations of everything. Our family, including our dog, were thrilled about the house.

The cabin is really clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the sauna. Host was very attentive to us. Weather conditions forced us to leave early and there was no internet, but we were compensated fairly and we look forward to the next visit.

This host delivers as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, in no small part due to the balcony hot tub, personal sauna, and indoor fireplace. Everything we needed was well stocked and accessible. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience! I loved the cabin, the fire place was a hit, and the overall decor of the place is so fitting. You could see that a lot of thought went into making this what it is - very special and very unique. We would return anytime! The hosts were great! Always responsive, always willing to help…even helped to fix my own negligence! Thank yo for a wonderful stay!

We thoroughly loved our stay! The only downside was the wifi was out due to a prior storm, but that was not a fault of the house. The neighborhood was lovely, as we took our dog on many walks around both at night and during the day. The beds were so comfortable and the showers were great with plenty of hot water. The fireplace in the living room was our favorite! It heated the house so nicely, and there was so much firewood that was provided. We would love the stay here again in the future.

The location is great at the top of the hill! It has a very large gathering space which is attached to the kitchen so everykne can be social together. The rooms are downstairs, and there are 2 bathroom/showers (one upstairs and one downstairs), which was convenient. Its close to many great spots to visit with beautiful views just about anywhere you go. The wifi wasn't working at the time, but we had data access and were able to use mobile hotspots, so that wasnt a problem. We did not use the washer/dryer while there, but it looks nice. They allowed us to use their towels and dishes, which is very kind of them! The TV works great, the fireplace is wonderful, and there was more than enough seating. The sauna and the spa were both perfect ways to calm down at the end of the day.There was no wildlife that we saw at the house, but they're around! It is so quiet at night, it felt like we were the only ones there. There was construction going on right behind us, which they were gracious enough to give us a discound becuase of, but we didnt have to worry about that over the weekend. The only thinkg I would say i didnt like was how close all the houses were, especially with another one being built. There isnt very much yard space, so its not necessarily ideal to hang out outside, but that wasnt a worry for us at all. We had a great time indoors and visiting the local attractions.

What a wondeful place! Everything was as pictured and even better in person. Having the fire place going during cool evenings was such a treat and a definite bonus! Our hosts, Zach and Pam, were very accomodaring to our needs and very helpful. Would definitely love to come back.

The cabin was a great fit for our family’s trip. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and made a good home base during our time in the area. The process was smooth and we appreciated having a cozy place to come back to each day.

This home fit our family needs perfectly. Close to Tahoe City and the lake. Wish we would have had a few more days to take advantage of everything. The HOA access to the private beach and facilities is really nice. Kitchen is well stocked and as we had a family with a one year old, we did cook a number of meals there. Beds were comfortable with nice bedding. Zach, the property manager was amazing. His communication was quick and he took great care of us.Yes, I would definitely recommend this property. Only reason I gave a lower score on one section is a lake view would have been preferable. However, the patio was so cozy for the family to gather that the lake view was not a big issue. Coming from Texas the pine trees and mountains were a nice change for all of us.

Great facilities. Loved the hot tub. Quick feedback about any concerns. WiFi was good. Loved walking through the forest down to Tahoe to have a coffee and cinnamon roll!

This is our second stay at this cabin and it was just as good as the first! Great communication with the owners. Cabin is clean, fresh, and so nicely decorated. Great location, and membership access to the Tahoe Park Association is wonderful! We were able to hang out with our Grandsons everyday at the beach! Several restaurant's, a small market, boat and Kayak rentals are at that location also. This is a wonderful cabin and we look forward to our next visit!

We were amazed with the property and all the amenities. This place had more couches and chairs then i thought could possibly be in a place and it still did not seem crowded. Outdoor deck was enjoyable with hot tub and outdoor propane fire pit. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could want or need for food or drinks. Loved the round ice cubes and kids liked the smores maker. Pleased to see french press, drip cofee maker, and bean grinder. The master bed was so comfortable I now want a new mattress at home. Loved the layout of the house. Was excellent location for so much. Great options in the area and close enough to north and south portions of lake to explore. Loved having access to the private beach area. It was so nice to have beach chairs, beach towels, and some beach toys. Construction made it a little difficult getting around but not to bad. Just had to plan ahead. Such a peaceful and beautiful area. This place really made my families stay in the Lake Tahoe area memorable.

The chalet was absolutely beautiful—exactly what we were hoping for and more. The fireplace was the reason I booked it, and it did not disappoint. You can tell this is a family’s home, built with so much care and love. Every detail felt intentional, cozy, and welcoming. The firepit, sauna, and jacuzzi were the icing on the cake and made our stay unforgettable. Would absolutely love to come back!

Listing is accurate and better than pictures. Clean home and comfy beds. Had everything we needed for our visit.Be sure to get an appropriate vehicle in winter time! We had a bit of a time getting up the hill!A was very nice to stay here!

What a great weekend at Bear Cub Cabin! The house is as described. The neighborhood was very quiet with walking areas and hiking trails behind the house. Quick drive down to Tahoe City that has fun shops, good restaurants and a nice walk along the water front. Hot tubbing under the stars was amazing and good for our souls. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure is good and the appliances all worked great. Highly recommended staying at the Bear Cub Cabin!

Excellent location, close to lots of ammenities! Quality furniture througout. Very comfortable. Stocked kitchen with all you would need! (Not food wise) Loved the fireplace and hot tub! Cant say enough about how well we slept in the primary bed!We will 100% stay there again!

Our stay at the Bear Cub Cabin was wonderful! Inside and out it was immaculate! Beautiful open concept living area, and spacious comfortable bedrooms. Very quiet neighborhood. Having access to the Lake Tahoe Park Association was great, it was so pretty, and our Grandsons loved all the amenities it had to offer. Excellent communication with the Hosts, from beginning to end. So happy with our experience!

The house was great for our family. We went in mid July, and the house was hot during the day. It cooled down in the evening and sleeping was fine.
