Pros: nice kitchenette with toaster oven, cutlery, etc. with a kettle and tea bags; working A/C which was critical on the 95 degree days; had a dehumidifier since it was a basement (although it was full when I got in); enough seating options in the living space; ample paper products (tp, paper towels, a box of Kleenex)Cons: I never received any check in instructions and when I messaged in the app and called the cell number and left a message, I didn't get a response. I knocked at the house and a teenager said she didnt have any information but someone would be home soon. After waiting another 25 minutes with no one arriving, I called VRBO support. I was providing them information when the daughter came home. The mother did take her call--so I don't know why she wouldn't have checked her voicemail when she knew someone was coming in to stay. I waited 45 minutes to check-in (with my car running the whole time since it was 95 degrees outside) after driving 6.5 hours, which was super frustrating. I had an evening event and had to race around trying to get ready since this put me so far behind. I never received any message or apology from the host.It is in a basement, so you need to carry all your belongings around the back of the house and down a flight of stairs. When I got in the shower, there was a huge spider in the ceiling corner, which freaked me out because i didnt want it to land on me. Thankfully, there was a dustbuster that I used to vacuum it and 2 other spider

My impression of it was very good. Unfortunately, because of family emergencies, I was unable to stay there. I definitely won't rule it out in the future.
