Discover tranquility and space in this historic double adobe home, nestled at a quiet cul de sac's end near Downtown/Railyard. With over a century of stories, this residence offers modern comforts like Minisplit AC within its expansive 2000 sq ft interior and an additional 700 sq ft of sheltered outdoor portal. The home boasts dual washer/dryer sets, a comprehensive kitchen plus dining space, and a convenient kitchenette equipped with an air fryer. Two inviting living areas and various outdoor spots, complete with dining and coffee tables, make for perfect relaxation or entertainment zones. Outdoors, the property features a fenced area for pets and a vast yard with secure parking options. The two bathrooms range from simple to deluxe, the latter offering a luxurious double shower experience.

Embrace the Santa Fe charm right in the city's pulse, steps away from the Railyard, Plaza, and a myriad of dining, shopping, and cultural venues. This abode is a haven for those who love the outdoors, presenting a generous 700 sq ft portal that doubles as an alfresco living space, furnished with a dining set, workspace, and ample seating for intimate gatherings or serene solitude.

The home's layout resembles a duplex, with the smaller unit encompassing roughly 750 sq ft, featuring a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a queen and twin bed, and a cozy rocking chair. It includes a petite living/dining area with a kitchenette, its own entrance, and private outdoor seating. A full-size washer/dryer and a dedicated workspace leading to the pet area add to its self-contained charm.

The larger section houses a fully-equipped kitchen, a spacious living room with additional sleeping options, a 50-inch TV, and a workspace with a printer. Two more bedrooms offer a queen and king bed, respectively, and the opulent bathroom showcases a custom-built double shower and vanity. An extra compact washer/dryer complements the full-size set in the smaller unit.

Please note, while one bedroom offers privacy with a curtain partition, this storied home may not align with all tastes. Its authentic character and charm are captured in unedited iPhone photos, revealing its true essence. Be aware of some steps and uneven surfaces, as it's a single-level property. It's not the epitome of luxury but a modest, functional dwelling for those appreciating historical allure. This is a serene retreat, not suited for parties, in a neighborhood where tranquility is cherished.

Pets are strongly discouraged however if you must - ensure it is a non shedding breed. no pets allowed if your stayis less than 6 days

Great communication with the host. House was clean and the bathrooms and kitchen were well supplied. One of the bedrooms is not very private, being separated from the kitchen by only a curtain. We made it work just fine. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. The house is Within easy walking distance to the Saturday farmers market. Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s are nearby. It’s a great jumping off point to explore the area!

The property clean, quiet and centrally located for our event. All of my family( from different locations) were quite comfortable with the accommodations.Personally, I liked the quiet quirkiness of the building. Not the ritz, but most certainly something I would recommend!

The property was exactly as shown on the web. The location was close to everything we wanted to see. The property owner was wonderful about answering questions and even called on check in day to make sure everything was all right. The home was spacious and equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the large outdoor patio space. I would stay here again without hesitation.

My family and friends needed a spot in Santa Fe to meet up tht was easy to get to, close to the activities we planned and comfortable enough for us all. This spot was all those things and more. Before I arrived, the owner reached out with all the details and checked in a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. He was always available by text/phone and so helpful when we had questions. We all arrived at different times and it was easy to get to for those who drove, and took the train in to town. A fifteen minute walk from the Railyard, farmer's market, several museums, and a quick drive to grocery stores, shopping and the town square.Very comfortable - half way through our stay, the weather turned to hail, winds, and heavy rain for days. The kitchen was great not only for cooking, but congregating throughout our stay. The bedrooms were great places to rest and get some quiet. Morning coffee outside was such a treat. We will for sure be back to Santa Fe - always more to see and do, and we will for sure check to see if this property is available first. One more thing - we accidentally left a few small things and the owner was kind enough to send to us.

Our son and daughter in law arrived in the afternoon and set up in the house. My husband, daughter, and I arrived very late and it was dark. The house was well lite but I felt I was walking through a Escher painting. One room led to another in unexpected ways. It was quite fun exploring this unique space. In daylight and an awake brain it all made sense. The house was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. I liked the private driveway and that we could walk to an excellent cafe for morning coffee. We could also walk to the grocery. The host also did well at communicating with us. We felt very welcome.

We were in Santa Fe and needed a good base for a week-long work trip. The house is an older adobe building and in typical old school NM fashion, has a weird architectural arrangement that means the house is effectively split into two halves/suites, with one of the bedrooms being forced to serve as the interior access between the two! Other than that, services were good - one suite contains a full kitchen, while the other is more of a kitchenette (e.g., stove vs. hotplate). Note - because it's difficult to route utilities through adobe, extra heating is done via portable electric space heaters so BE CAREFUL when plugging in a series of energy hungry appliances (guess how we found that out...).

Walking distance to so many great locations (Flea market at Railroad, plaza, restaurants, parks...) Highly recommend this to others and would definitely stay there again!

Messaged day of for access to the property. Had several quick messages about the mechanicals to insure we were comfortable, winter time stay. House was exactly as shown. Clean and well stocked. This traditional adobe house is in a great location near amazing restaurants and the rail yard. We stayed for a week with my adult children and had plenty of room. The house is very well stocked. We needed for nothing. Will definitely see if this place is available when we return .

House was clean and conveniently located. Separate living space was great for grandparents traveling with us. It gave them some privacy and alone time away from grandchildren. House would be perfect for families or multiple generations traveling together. Beds were really comfortable. Host was available to answer any questions.

This older adobe was clean and had lovely remodeled bathrooms and lots of space. The floorpan could accommodate 2 separate families. The main kitchen is well stocked and comfortable. There are no built in clothing closets, but there are a few storage options for hanging. The location is very central, but a little more signage would help to find it. The owner is kind and pleasantly responsive. We enjoyed our stay!
