Private 1.5 Acre Fenced Dog Haven: Near Croom/ATV Trails, Golf, and Disc Golf!

A great place to relax and truly is a Peaceful Haven. The place was as described and pictured. Pet Friendly forsure, we joked that we rented a house for our dogs and got to stay there too. Lisa is a great host, responsive, and it's extra special that shes an animal rescuer with proceeds going to rescue. She's got cattle, horses, and donkeys. Plus we got the chance to see some local wildlife (Florida Fox Squirrels, Cranes, Cattle Egrets, and owl that visited every morning).

The door handle on the door entering from the car port needs to be tightened. A couple of the kitchen drawers need to be fixed. No worries. Just pointing them out for the next guest. They appear to have been broken for some time. Lastly, the guest bath shower has mold on tile up towards the ceiling. We had an absolutely wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the property. Thank you for the visit!

Beautifully maintained home and property. It is obvious they have been updating fixtures and the bathroom.Very roomy and lots of counter space.The fenced in area surrounding the house is sturdy looks new.Our dog made friends with the cattle in the pastures- they visited with her daily. So quiet you could hear the insects and birds! Several nights I just stood and looked at the constellations.I recommend this property to anyone who enjoys nature.

Beautiful location, comfortable cabin, peaceful grounds. We enjoyed seeing the animals in the morning, especially, the donkeys. We had an amazing time there, would absolutely stay again and recommend it for a great getaway.

This was a great family friendly place and plenty of room for our two large dogs. The yard was a nice size, fenced, and well manicured. There were several puzzles available and a nice sized table with plenty of room to layout the pieces. The hosts were prompt in responding to messages, and made us feel welcome.

We came here to celebrate our Thanksgiving. We brought everything to make our dinner and it was such a perfect place to do it. The country setting and a big dining room with a large table to have my family all sit at. We all were amazed at the beautiful land surrounding the home and loved the animals that came close to us to pet.After dinner the air was getting cooler for us to enjoy a warm fire at the fire pit. There was fire wood all prepared for us. We will definitely live to come back to this beautiful country home.

This house is a true country retreat! It’s peaceful and quiet with absolutely beautiful views all around. The bonus was the animals on the property, which made our stay feel extra special. The home is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. Perfect spot to relax, unplug, and enjoy the beauty of nature. Highly recommend!

Great, cozy place in a peaceful place. It was perfect for our disc golf trip.

The place is huge. We didn't get to spend much time there but the beds were comfortable and the animals were fun.

Loved everything about this property. So easy to get comfortable in, very well stocked, amazingly peaceful setting where cows and wildlife abound. The house is great and very roomy. Laundry is handy and there's a great little desk area that made checking with work a breeze. Visited with the owner, Lisa a few times when we were both out walking in the mornings, very pleasant.Nothing but good things to say about the Brooksville Retreat!

Sleeps 8 technically.... Quiet in the woods. 15 minutes from 4 disc golf courses.

Felt like home loved the cattle in the backyard very quiet and very private but safe!!

Our trip to Lisa’s property was phenomenal. The property itself was extremely clean and well kept. The home is situated on a small farm and we enjoyed seeing the animals. Lisa was extremely responsive to all of our inquiries and we appreciated the time being able to disconnect and have a family getaway.
