Fix patio door lock on first floor, update 1st floor, put more privacy fence around pool

The house was clean, the pool was perfect, we were able to use it even when it was cold outside. I really loved the towel exchange service, which supplied anything needed. For the house ( clean towels, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, toilet paper,, clean linens, ex). The hour is very spacious. Our host was very prompt in answering any questions.

Good location and privacy off season.

Really good time and was in a perfect spot right across the road from the beach. Beds are comfortable and enough space for all the children. Loved the back porch.

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It's just steps from the beach, which made it incredibly convenient for quick trips back and forth. The private pool was a huge bonus—especially during the rainy days between showers. It gave the kids a fun way to stay entertained without dealing with the hassle of setting up the shade tent in the wind. Overall, this is a great option for families visiting South Padre!

This house is literally across the street from a public beach entrance and has a small swimming pool, which makes it fun. The split level with no inside access makes it challenging for families with small kids. It is definitely dated, and areas such as the “master” bath very much need updating. and we had minor problems that added up - a clock that didn’t work, no corkscrew in downstairs kitchen, an oven that was seemingly no where close the the advertised temperature, ice trays that were only partly filled when we arrived, an advertised hot tub that was the same temp as the pool and the jets didn’t work…. And other issues all totaled failure to pay close attention. On the plus side the bedding and towels were top notch. Luke we have called to complain about these issues while we were there? Yes, but that’s not the way I want to spend my 1000 a night vacation.

The house was very clean and accommodating for the large group we had staying. The pool is a great size and the backyard was perfect for our nightly grilling. The kitchen upstairs is bigger so we used it for breakfast and dinner. The upstairs unit itself is bigger and nicer so we used the bottom unit mainly for sleeping only. The units are not connected on the inside which wasn't a big deal for us at all. The beach access is across the street and was very convenient to come and go as we pleased. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend. We will book again.

We had a wonderful time at this property! It was perfect for us, with two full apartments in the two-story home. We enjoyed the backyard with the swimming pool, however, we could not get the Jacuzzi to work. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed to cook. Thank you very much for a wonderful memory.

Our stay was awful. The pictures were very misleading. The house is not connected. No way to access top level without going outside, washer and dryer is in the garage with no light we could find, couch was stained and very uncomfortable, someone before us had puked all over the wicker Chester drawer in room with king bed so had to call to agency to have it cleaned as soon as we arrived. I could still see brownish stains of it in the wicker after maintenance scrubbed with bleach, ceiling fan in room with king bed so off balance you could not use. The only nice thing about the stay was the hot tub and short walk to beach. I found this rental over priced for what it actually was. I was so disgusted about the vomit I felt gross the entire stay and very angry about paying the high price I paid. This place needs some work and the rental agency should be ashamed of themselves for their cleaning efforts. Nasty!!!! Keep on searching

The house was in a perfect location to the beach. Great pool, and lots of room for our 7 adults. The house was clean but needs a face lift. Awkward set up with no access from top level to bottom level except to go outside but we made it work. Amenities were misleading, thought beach towels would be provided, but they were not. Overall, a great location. Lot's of room for large groups. Check-in and out was easy and convenient.

We booked this property for our annual family trip to SPI, and it’s been the best property we have been to yet. We appreciated that every couple had their own room and bathroom. I only docked one point because the property was definitely a little more “loved” than it appears in the photos. But excellent overall and great communication from Judy when we asked for an early check-in.

It's such a wonderful house for a family getaway, boasting the most ideal location just a block away from the beach. The bathroom could use a bit of updating for better ventilation. Overall, it would easily be a 5-star spot if it weren't for the sewage smell in the downstairs bathroom and a whole day without internet! I would definitely return here, solely for the amazing atmosphere and location!

If your looking for the idea spot to have a stress free South Padre Island Vacation, this is it! The things we most appreciated were that each couple (4) had their own room and own bathroom. Plus a spacious living room/kitchen area. The location, just a short walk to the beach. And, then after a long day in the salt water and sand, you can come back and spend a relaxing evening in the pool! Everyone said it was the perfect location and place to stay. Thanks!

This place was above our expectation. Two separate entrances for the top and bottom, own spaces. A great fenced/private backyard for our pets. A walk across the street to the beach or soak and sun in your own private pool.

The only constructive criticism is that the baseboards and cabinet fronts in downstairs unit could use a deep cleaning. Overall, the property was clean and well kept. Our family had a fantastic stay, and especially enjoyed the pool. The outdoor shower was wonderful for cleaning off the sand after the beach, and quite regressing.
