Pristine Four Season Family Beach House. Walk to Beaches, Restaurants & Trolley.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Lure. We chose this location for its proximity to some December holiday events in Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. It was an excellent option, being so close to both towns. The house was warm, inviting, and very comfortable. It was even decorated for Christmas, which was such a nice touch. The host, Jeff, was friendly and communicative, giving suggestions and checking in during our stay. I would recommend Ocean Lure to anyone staying in the area.

Host was extremely welcoming and communicated with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was ok. The home was conveniently located right off Rt. 1. We stayed in the winter season so we did not access the beach, but it was a 20 minute drive to Kennebunkport and 5 to Ogunquit. The house was nicely decorated for Christmas. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was extremely well stocked if we wanted to cook/bake. I will make it a destination again when we head to Maine!

Both were very convenient and fully stocked for use, which was so appreciated. This beautiful beach cottage was so beautifully appointed just as it was in the pictures. Absolutely everything was impeccably, clean and inviting and comfortable. I had a wonderful vacation there. I will be returning to Maine and when I do, I certainly will rent this spot again thank you Jeff for creating such a beautiful space for vacationers. It was much appreciated. Have a beautiful fall and winter.

Lovely place to stay. Well appointed. Decorated nicely. The host was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. A beautiful walk down to the beach on a fairly quiet road.Easy to find and located not too far from downtown Ogunquit. Restaurant a short walk away from the property.

The property was beautiful with a spacious backyard. The kids enjoyed playing catch and lounging in the chairs. The house was immaculate and was just the right size for all of us. The kids wished they had their own room, but enjoyed it just the same. We enjoyed the many shops within walking distance and the beaches. Everything was so central. Beautiful area and home. Looking forward to going back again and stay for another week. The weather was perfect!

We loved our stay at the Ocean Lure! It was perfect for a family with a toddler. Having the dishwasher, washer and dryer, back yard, beach toys, and a beach cart were incredibly helpful. We loved that we could walk to the beach, gift shops, and other nearby restaurants/activities and our daughter enjoyed the wagon ride. I personally loved having the full kitchen and Hannaford nearby as we made a lot of meals at home, so we didn’t have to eat out every night. I highly recommended this lovely place and can’t wait to go back next year.

The property is centrally located to enjoy several communities. Nice area to walk to the local beach or explore the variety of beaches nearby. Plenty of places to enjoy some fresh seafood or you can shop at the outlets nearby.

We stayed for 3 days in April. It was very clean and cozy and close to our favorite restaurants in Wells and Ogunquit. Ocean Beach is within walking and short drive distance. The hosts were gracious and knowledgeable about the area.

This was our first time in NewEngland.

My friend and I stayed here for a weekend girls trip. The house is in a wonderful location. Very accessible to the beach. It is also in a short driving distance from many great seafood restaurants. The host was very communicative. The instructions for check-in and check out were very clear as well. A wonderful house for two people.

A property definitely to come back to!

I stayed at Ocean Lure for two weeks for my annual solo writing/walking sabbatical. The house is perfectly clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The bed is excellent and linens and towels are provided. The location could not be better - .5 mile walk down the street and I was on the beach! Jeff and Daryl are delightfully hosts - very responsive!

This was a great place in a perfect location. The owner gave us many suggestions of things to…you are close to everything on the central coast. So much better than a hotel!

Perfect spot for a family beach trip. Anything you may need Ocean Lure supplied. Great location with restaurants and shopping nearby. Jeff was a great host. Will definitely stay here again.

We(me, my wife and 13 year old) stayed over the July 4th week. The house is very clean and has everything you could possibly need for a week at the beach; beach towels, beach toys, chairs, boogie boards and beach wagons. The backyard is nice too, with a grill and plenty of seats and a table for dining outdoors. There are also several bikes and helmets available. Beds are comfortable too and thr laundry facilities are excellent Jeff was a very responsive host and was able to answer any questions we had. Overall this is one of the best rental experiences we've had and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
