Prickly Pear 723: Nestled between beach & sound w/shared pool

Great location and perfect for little families. Loved the tv’s in the rooms. The screened in porch was a nice morning coffee spot. A ceiling fan on the porch would be the only thing in would add to the home. The downstairs shower and hoses were a nice way to clean up after a day at the beach.

Great space for a family with kids and a close walk to the Avon Pier, local shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

This is an absolute gem of a house that we ran into purely by accident while trying to find where to stay for a short extended weekend break. It was available exactly for the days we needed for, so we jumped in and never regretted it! The house was very clean and had everything one may need for any stay, be it a quick fishing trip or a week-long family vacation! We will definitely try to book it next time we are in Avon!

A great hidden gem with easy access to everything. The house was clean and in excellent condition. Parking was easy and we all had room. I highly recommended it and would stay here again.

Rental was immaculate and very comfortable. Spent most of the time on the porch. Close to most shops and beach. Nicely decorated.

The house was perfect for our family of 5! Super clean. Recent construction. Loved the screen porch! Avon beach just the other side of the road! A bath tub would be awsome! ;) Thank you for the great memories! It was perfect!!! :)

My family enjoyed our stay here. It’s in a great location. The screened in deck and outdoor shower were lovely. There was more than enough room for our family of three.

This property is located in a perfect spot for beach lovers. There are not the crowds and congestion found in other areas of OBX. There are plenty of places to get necessities and several good restaurants within walking distance. We especially liked to local seafood store.

We loved staying at prickly pear! Great amount of space with three bedrooms plenty of beds. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and there were tons of games to keep our littles occupied. Definitely would stay here again - location was perfect just a couple blocks to the beach/Avon pier.

Beautiful new, modern beach house, we loved our stay here. Quick walk to the beach. We had some rainy days, so we enjoyed the Roku TV. This house is great, the only negative we found is there’s no ice maker in the freezer and only tiny, cracked ice trays, so we bought bagged ice. A few suggestions I have for improvement would be a ceiling fan on the screened-in porch along with some string lights or dimmers on the overhead lights out there, and maybe some dimmers on the kitchen lights. The downstairs area under the house was great for cleaning up beach equipment, plus there’s plenty of room to hang out there if you had chairs and maybe a corn hole game! Not sure when we’ll make it back to Avon, but we’d definitely stay here again.
