Everything about this rental was 5 stars. The cleanliness of the home and property and the wonderful small touches all throughout the house. We loved the short walk to the beach with our dog so she could swim in the lake and we could watch the sunsets. We enjoyed using the hot tub each night as the temperature was cooler mid October. Valerie communicated with us to make sure everything we needed was available. Would love to come back with more family in the future.

This home is deceivingly spacious and overall fantastic! The bedroom and rangement was great. The back patio and hot tub were perfect. And the proximity to the beach was amazing! We ran out of toilet paper and someone showed at our door with more in like 20 minutes! We did bring our own coffee and were glad we did as they don’t stock that. But if you don’t, Aldi is less than 5 minutes up the road!

Our family if 5 older adults and 2 pups had a fantastic stay at Sean and Valerie’s home. Everything was exactly as described, every detail thought through, clean and neat as a pin. I was especially impressed by the supply of beach equipment, games, cart, toys, etc… all carefully chosen to transport easily down to the beach. The beach was relatively quiet (compared to the packed main public area), clean and beautiful….a haven for dogs and their people. We enjoyed gorgeous sunsets from the boardwalk overlooking the lake, and yes we even saw deer. The free shuttle downtown and to Pere Marquette Beach made it was so easy to get around Muskegon. Valerie checked in on us to ensure all was well and was very accommodating on any request. This was our family’s first time vacationing on Lake Michigan, and we all agreed we’d be back next year. Everything was clean and organized. We enjoyed the hot tub and the short distance to the beach was a huge plus. My family and I would definitely rent this home again. Great memories were made.

Wonderful home. Very well appointed. House was very clean, organized, easy to find cooking pans and utensils in the kitchen. Our group of 9 had only good to say about their stay!! We enjoyed the corn hole toss game, hot tub, beach chairs. Great location to the beach and quiet area! Thank you for a wonderful vacation place!!

Great location! Lots of room for our family. Great dog beach which is just a 5 minute walk away. Great communication from host. We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was a bit on the small side which it made meal prep challenging at times. It could have been a bit cleaner and need to invest in new mattresses. Overall, a good stay though. The weather was fabulous during our stay.

We had the most amazing time! Rental was everything we hoped for a more. Location was perfect, weather was beautiful, sunsets amazing, neighbors were awesome and plenty to do in the area. Also very responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend Sunsets on Sherman!

My family of 8 rented this home for a long weekend beach getaway and it was the perfect place for us. The home was spacious, clean, and stocked with everything we needed. The location was incredible - just a few minutes walk to the beach, which was never crowded. The property owners keep the garage stocked with all things you may need for the beach from chairs to toys and even a wagon to carry it all down. It was such a relief to not have to travel with all that extra stuff! I would definitely rent this home again l and highly recommend it to others. Thank you for a memorable family getaway!

The home is located in an amazing neighborhood. The sunset views are the best I have seen in western Michigan! Very well-organized check-in process. Plenty of activities to do in the home and nearby. Will visit again!

We were in the area for a wedding but this home and location made it fun for all. Having access to the beach was awesome for all of us, especially the kids. The game closet was great, too. The adults got into the hot tub one evening. All in all a lovely stay.

Clean and inviting. Included things like beach chairs and towels which was convenient. Simple stay instructions. Short, easy drive to stores. Didn’t need to think about anything too much which makes for a great stay.

I can’t recommend this property enough! From the minute we booked, the hosts were in constant communication for any questions prior to arrival. The check in instructions are exceptionally simple and effective. The house was cleaned a few days in advance of our arrival and she even texted me to ask if we wanted to arrive earlier in the day but sadly we couldn’t. The house itself had to be one of the best stocked homes we’ve ever stayed in. It has available everything you’d need, from kitchen spices and appliances to indoor and outdoor toys, even an air compressor in the garage for blowing up large beach inflatables. The hot tub was greatly enjoyed by all of our family and we especially loved the easy beach access. A parking pass was provided for the paid parking areas, which was really thoughtful. You can walk down the sidewalk in front of the house and go through the fence trail to the beach or drive your car around the bend on the other side of the street and park near the stairs. We really enjoyed the trail for all of the wildlife watching and enjoying the view of the water from up high. The stairs going down to the sand are relatively new and in great shape. The house itself is located at the end of a quiet dead end street next to a park, so virtually no traffic. Check out process was very minimal and simple. My whole family agrees that this was one of our best trips.

Everything about this rental, including the owner’s communication, was by far the best rental we’ve ever stayed at. It was obvious that this is not just a rental but a very cared for home. Great home and location! Right at Lake Michigan and Lake Muskegon. Beautiful beaches! Many things available to do nearby. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores! Love the yard at this home, and all the amenities by being stocked! Our family loved it there!❤️
