Stayed Aug 2, 2019This villa was beautiful. Our group of 5 adults and 4 kids stayed here for Dream Week (Jamaica’s Emancipation and Independence holidays). We truly enjoyed our days looking out from the varanda admiring the amazing views, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and eating some of Ann’s delicious dishes. We spent 4 unforgettable days. Ann was also very helpful with restaurant tips and in setting up a boat tour for us. The kids enjoyed playing with the very friendly dog, Stella, and cried the last day because they didn’t want to say goodbye to her. While we had an incredible time, there are a few things that could have made our stay more comfortable. The access to the rooms upstairs is through a very steep and narrow staircase which is not ideal for kids. We thought we would be okay without A/C but it was very hot at night, and it was hard to sleep. Also, with the lack of window screens, we all got attacked by many mosquitos even with the mosquito nets. The plantation shutters are very charming but not very functional for noise and light. We could hear the noise from the cars/motorcycles (road nearby) and from the concert nearby until 5 in the morning. We brought loud noise machines for the kids but their sleep was heavily disrupted. It’s a lovely house with so much history but in need of some TLC and updating: fans out in the varanda and new windows are certainly a must. Despite the sleepless nights, we still had a great stay and enjoyed the time spent in the villa with the friendly and accommodating staff.

Stayed Jul 3, 2019The property was great for our purposes as we were all at Negril for a wedding. It was a very relaxing stay with two private beaches right outside our porch. Floating lounge chairs, two person kayaks, SUPs, a hammock, clay tennis courts and horse shoes on the beach were just fantastic. The staff was attentive and Ann was a fabulous cook. Overall the property was perfect for our stay. One thing to note is that noise from the road can be distracting at night. We had ear plugs so the road noise did not bother us. Really enjoyed the stay.

Stayed Mar 23, 2019We were so fortunate to find this beautiful home in Jamaica. It is a truly unique place with the kind of rustic charm we appreciate. I understand this is the oldest home in Jamaica and it has the kind of genuine old-world details you would expect: heavy hardwood louvered doors and windows, a gigantic covered porch overlooking the sea, rustic furniture and antiques, natural ventilation instead of AC (totally comfortable!), and lovely beds with mosquito netting. Beyond the house, you have a private 2-acre property all to yourself that includes lawns, gardens, a full tennis court, and two completely private beaches with no outside access. It is a little bit of paradise. Your stay is all the more comfortable because of the wonderful staff -- two full-time cooks who also clean, maintain, do laundry if asked, or pick up groceries. The lovely Anne, Nathalie, and Talesia make you feel well at home and prepare some amazing Jamaican meals. Donnie takes care of the yard and garden and helps you get a taxi, launch the kayaks or anything else you need outside. And at night, there is always a security guard, usually Charmer, walking the grounds with two dogs -- the intimidating Sam and the lovable Stella. We barely ventured off the property because we had absolutely all we could want at home. It was very relaxing. We did venture out for an excellent dinner at Push Cart (at Rock House) and a few other good local meals. But by far the best excursion was Reggae Horseback Riding near Little London. Highly recommended. If you are someone who appreciates an older home and the history it provides, this is the place you will adore. I cannot wait to return.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our stay at Llantrissant was absolutely wonderful! The staff was amazing and so helpful. Ann and Natalie served us the most delicious meals and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking, tennis, croquet, snorkeling, floating in the blue water, and just hanging out on the veranda. It was an incredibly fun and relaxing week in a stunning location!

Stayed Oct 10, 2017There aren't enough good things to say about this place! From the moment you arrive you automatically begin to relax and just take it all in. It's impossible to not fall in love with this old creole cottage at first sight. The long porch is everyones favorite place to hang out, and Ann and Natalie's cooking is a highlight not to be missed! We enjoyed Lobster cooked 3-4 different ways, Jerk Chicken, Callalloo, Ackee and SaltFish and the list goes on. The beaches are protected so the water is calm most of the time, great for teaching a 3 year old to swim!!! Also perfect for lounging on rafts and floating the day away. There were beautiful sunrises and sunsets out on the point that may have been my favorites part of the stay! Danny takes extra care to ensure the grounds are beautiful at all times. The ping pong table on the point or the tennis court beside the house is perfect in the late afternoons for a quick game before dinner. Barry and Charmer are a welcome addition to getting everyone comfortable to their new surroundings, and its hard to not wanna just call in sick to work and stay forever!! Highly recommended! Love Love Love this place!!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Such a wonderful place for a getaway! We had a small group this time and cannot wait to come back again with more people. The helpful friendly staff felt like family before the week long stay was over, & being able to swim out to the reef from the property 1st thing in the morning was one of my favorite highlights. The views from the porch were mesmerizing & as beautiful as the rest of Jamaica is, we found it hard to leave the property because everything you could possibly want was right there! Will definitely be back for more-can't wait to bring the kids and friends next time-it would also be an excellent choice when traveling my older parents for a destination holiday.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969As I look back on the pictures from our 2014 wedding in Jamaica, the ones that stand out as my favorite are from the time we spent in Negril at Llantrisant. The relaxing atmosphere, the men and ladies who assisted us, and the beautiful and well kept villa and grounds, all bring back wonderful memories. My husband and I both agree that It would be a great place to bring our children and grandchildren someday (we are both 60 so this wouldn't be too far in the future). The arrival date is incorrect as I couldn't go back to the actual date 2 years earlier!!
