Stayed Aug 9, 2024We were very happy with our stay at this property. It is a cute little house right on the river. Very peaceful and quiet yet offering all the amenities associated with home. It was an easy drive to many of the attractions around Virginia Beach (within 30 minutes) although we hadn’t realized we would need to travel through the tunnel each time (involved a toll). Definitely suggest it for anyone looking to be away from the typical beach busyness.

Stayed Jul 10, 2024Really nice property. Just a few minor suggestions. Provide a broom. Needs a dinner table. Maybe a few mattresses toppers for the beds. A nice well kept property.

Stayed Jun 6, 2024Debbie was such a wonderful host. Fast to respond to text messages. The house is so charming and well kept and the views cannot be beat especially the sunsets. Would highly recommend. Great location if you are visiting your Sailor.

Stayed May 20, 2024We stayed here for a job we were working at. We loved the fishing and the beautiful views. We have to come back a few more times for work, hopefully we can stay here again!

Stayed Apr 18, 2024The VRBO was all that it appeared. Very clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to put a dining table inside the home. If the weather is bad there is no place to have a meal or play a cards or a game.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house was very clean and had plenty of room for everyone! We stayed while visiting with family in the area and it was just what we needed.

Stayed Apr 20, 2023Stayed here with family for a wedding. The upstairs area was great for the kids and the beds downstairs were comfy and the rooms were perfect. Walls were a bit thin, so keep that in mind when booking with large parties and children (my goodness kids are loud lol), but the house itself was perfect for our needs. Even came with a rumba! Excellent hosts and easy communication. Would definitely book again.
