PLEASE NOTE :
✹We love families! We accommodate all of our guests, and each counts towards the total.
✹It looks as though VRBO has changed the way they word their fees. The cleaning fee is now being called a "host fee" The other fees belong to VRBO and lodging taxes go to the city. However, we do not have sales tax here. So, you can plan on buying "all the things."
✹ Nightly prices are set by a third party program. Each guest over the base rate of 5, including infants, is an additional $25/each night of the reservation.
✹While VRBO strongly recommends you use the platform for all communication, due to the size of the house and the multiple parties who stay here altogether, I use a rental agreement and welcome letter via email to make it easier for the person who books to disseminate information about the house, including how to get in.
This puts all of my guests on an equal footing, and they love it for its ease. You can see that reflected in the reviews.
We are not side -stepping VRBO for your booking, as it is already made/paid through this portal.
* If you didn't see it, we do have the 5 bedrooms /4 bathrooms rental available, and that would include the fully contained 2 bedroom apartment on the street level as well as these two upper levels that you are looking at in this ad.
The rental in this ad : 3bedrooms/3 bathrooms along with a different ad of 2 bedrooms/1 bathroom are fully contained private and separate units, unless you rent them both together- then they will be interconnected as 5 bedrooms/4bathrooms. Reach out if you have further questions.
We ask that you be respectfully quiet between the hours of 10pm-8am, on the main level especially, in the case that there are people in the 2 bedroom rental on the lower level.
We have Ring video doorbells out front for security purposes.
We are looking forward to hosting you. Thanks for choosing The Ginkgo House.

We joined our family of 6 people in Portland for a memorial service for our beloved grandmother. The house was big enough to host a pre-ceremony brunch for 15. Plenty of dishes etc. Great location for everything we did including trips to the airport.
The house is in a perfect location 15 mins from the airport, Portland downtown, and close to many shops, restaurants, etc. Plenty of street parking available as well. The house itself has lots of thoughtful touches for travelers (luggage racks, shaving mirrors, etc.) and the neighborhood is very charming. Would love to stay here again.
Everything went smoothly
Such a nice home! So clean and very well appointed! Great location, quiet. They thought of every detail! We will definitely stay in this house again!!!!
Great location and great property
The property is clean, well maintained, and well appointed with everything you could need. Everything seemed new or in excellent condition. It is a multiplex and we heard VERY little noise from the other tenants. The hostess Belladonna was helpful and attentive if needed—we had zero problems with the house or the stay in general. Lots to do within walking distance Alberta and Killingsworth. Overall I highly recommend this property!
Bella was an amazing host and was very accommodating. The house was clean, cute, and perfect for a large group. The location is close to Alberta and parking wasn’t a problem for us. I would recommend Bella and this wonderful property.
Bella was very responsive to our questions and needs. There were many amenities for travelers in the living room: maps, games, etc. Lovely porch, beds were comfortable, bathrooms had ample space and towels. The kitchen was small but had every convenience for cooking and meals. The neighborhood was colorful and well- located with many stores in walking distance. We would consider future visits, thank you, Bella.
Bella was easy to work with. We felt like this was a personal endeavour for her not just a faceless booking experience with a manager. The house was easy to find and we had a rental car and parking was easy. Although the weather was bit chilly, everything was so close we just walked to eat and drink (everything you can imagine they hand make locally in Portland, it' s nuts). The food was really good everywhere we went. And we we drove to the beach one day, and to Multnomah Falls athe next day. The seasons grocery store and that Kennedy School are must places to get what you need and also take in a cool vibe in a refurbished elementary school. My Uncle forgot his meds and was able to get them replaced at the Walgreens around the corner a couple blocks over. (which turned out to be a good excuse to eat at Hot Lips- they make theor own fruit soda!) We just loved Portland and I'm voting for our next family vacation to come back to explore and play even more. Thanks again, Bella. loved every bit
The property is perfectly located in a great neighborhood where you can walk to the market and cafes and great shops. The owner saved us at the last minute and was extremely helpful. Loved everything about this place! Highly recommend staying here.
