Stayed Jun 26, 2025This was the perfect place and location for out family summer vacation. It was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. It was a 3 min walk to the beach and the best part was that we didn't have to worry about parking. The State and National Parks are a short drive away for hiking. We loved staying here and will definitely return for another beach trip since my kids loved it so much. Thank you!

Stayed Jun 18, 2025Our stay at Porter beach vacation getaway was truly wonderful. The house was really perfect and easily fit our family of 2 adults and 7 children. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked with extra pillows and bedding needs for our family. The location to the beach and ease of access was perfect for our family of young children. The provided wagon and beach essentials made it so easy to have a wonderful day on the beach. The house being so close allowed us to come back mid day for lunch and naps for the little kids. Heather was wonderful and so responsive with any questions. We will be back!

Stayed Aug 1, 2024We had a great experience! The location was perfect with just about 3-4 minutes walk to the beach. You can see the beach from the windows and the patio. The water was very comfortable and kids enjoyed swimming and spending time by the water. ( August ) We also loved that within 3-4 miles you have variety of different restaurants and stores. The house was clean and comfortable. We brought everything we needed for our family and the house had everything else. No issue while staying. Very positive experience. We will be recommending this property to our friends.

Stayed Sep 9, 2023My family had such a wonderful stay in Porter Beach. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. The pictures did not do it justice. It was HUGE and had plenty of room for at least 4 more people. We loved sitting on the deck in the mornings with our coffee and enjoying the beach view. The beach was by far our favorite part. It was so nice to be so close. We just packed up the chairs and the beach toys into the wagon that was provided and walked down the road. It took less than five minutes to walk and find a place. The beach was GORGEOUS. The sand is clean, and the water is clear. Sometimes you really do forget that you're on a lake. The living room is super cozy for those days you want to just relax on the couch and watch a movie. The town has plenty of stores and restaurants for anything you may want or need. There are several parks nearby with playgrounds for young children. The owner was very friendly and reached out the day before our arrival to verify that the house had been cleaned and to discuss how to access the place. I have stayed at several places through VRBO over the years and I have to say that this was my favorite by far. We will be back for sure!
