Beautiful and cozy getaway

What a wonderful, peaceful place to stay-it was exactly what we were looking for to get away! The cabin was squeaky clean and the instructions/directions that were left for us were all very clear too. The hot tub was a nice added bonus too. The kitchen had everything needed for our time away, and I have to say that the back porch and the zen view was our favorite!

My only regret was not booking for a second night. Great property will definitely book again.

Clean and comfortable.

Always a nice stay. We have stayed at this cabin several times and always live it!! Feels remote but is close to everything . Always enjoy the antique shops at wimberely and Blanco.

The highway noise was loud. We wish the check in time was sooner ( with all rental companies). Cabin was great, cozy and comfortable.

Nice quiet location but easy drive to Wimberley. Hot tub heated and ready for arrival, firewood available for nice winter weekend stay.

The cabin was beautiful. It was remote enough to be peaceful and quiet, but a quick trip to town for dining and shopping.

Need more gate location detail..FM address alone not sufficient. Had we arrived in the dark I would not have located the gate located some 50 yards or so to the left of the street address..You need to include info that the gate is on the gravel road to the left of the mail box and pavement exit.

The beds and linens are nice but the overall cleanliness needs improvement. Ceiling a/c vents have dirt/mold/ dust on them. Needs a good deep clean overall. Window sills and edges of floors need cleaning. Also need to replace front door lock. Hard to open. Very private location.

We had a great time. The house is nice with a great view. This sounds picky, but the fitted sheet would not stay on the bed no matter how hard we tried. We would stay here again.

The cabin was nice and quiet and close to all the wonderful shops, Blue Hole, and other must see locations in Wimberley.

We had a great time, location was amazing and cabin was beautiful. We were hoping the water was as in the picture so we could swim since it’s so hot out.. but that wasn’t the case. Overall, great experience!

Clean, good location (hard to locate due to road construction ) easy access, comfortable accommodations, quiet and safe as it’s gated. Very nice, rustic chic decor.

Cute place, liked the patio/deck and the hot tub, however the company managing was a bit weird. Check out at 10am? Never in my life have I seen that. The place was also ready hours before the 4pm check in but they didn't let us check in early when I know for a fact the place was ready at clean 3 hours before. They also wouldn't let us check out late claiming another person was coming for the 4pm check in that day, however me personally being a real estate broker.. I know that it doesn't take 6 hours to clean a 2 bedroom home where only one of the bedrooms was slept in, and kitchen hardly used. So I’d call that a bit ridiculous, and just felt the company as a whole didn't really value customer service. It was a cute place to stay but the way they treated me as a number and not a guest, I won't be entertaining properties with this company again.

This could have been a 5 star rating except for the fact that we did not have a working toilet for the first 17 hours of our stay. (There was only one toilet) We arrived at 4:30, reported the nonflushing toilet within 15 min. They did not send someone to fix it until 9 am the next morning. This was beyond inconvenient! One of us is on diuretics which causes someone to have to urinate frequently. The problem could have and should have been fixed the same day it was reported. Refund of 65 was given but, that does not make up for the fact we had no restroom. We were told this isn’t a hotel. Well, I can tell you we have stayed in Bed and Breakfast and other accommodations for over 20 years and never had any issues like this. HORRIBLE customer service!!

This 'cabin' was fantastic! Very clean, very roomy, EXTREMELY comfortable and had everything we needed and more! Didn't do any cooking but from the looks of it, the cabin had everything! Oh, I could have used some kind of a 'pool net' to get all the pine/leaf debree out of the hot tub, but had no idea where to even look. I could only open one side of the cover because my temporarily disabled sister could not help and I did not expect to be able to get the cover back on by myself, so I only opened one half and still enjoyed it. Management Team (Hill Country Premeir Lodging) was very helpful before our arrival, sending a picture of what the property gate looked like from the road to help me find it, and when I first arrived late afternoon, to help me figure out how the 'door code system' worked, which was entirely my fault and once I had them on the phone I figured it out before they even had to explain, and they were very gracious not laughing at me when I felt like an idiot, lol. Wimberley is a great little hill country getaway with wonderful restaurants /bars and shopping. If anyone is a bird watcher, the area has the BEAUTIFUL Painted Bunting birds.The only thing that would have been better was if my sister didn't have a fractured knee, didn't have to wear leg brace and didn't need a 'walker' to get around so that we could have gone to some of the more natural pools and swimming areas. We will be back and can't imagine staying anywhere else when we do!

Construction work made driveway entrance very difficult . Iron would not heat properly and toilet was hard to do flush and continued running after use . I would not recommend this rental . The cabin itself was good . No scenery

This cozy and relaxing home is perfect for a weekend getaway. There were lots of fireflies at night out off the back porch!

The cabin is great. Cozy and well-appointed.But, the location on the listing on the VRBO site and app is inaccurate, leading to a great disappointment on our end once we received the actual location 24 hrs before check-in. The location appeared to be within walking distance of Market Days (the reason for our visit). Unfortunately, the location was actually just under 4 miles away, on the other side of town, on a fairly busy highway.To VRBO's credit, they did what they could (a small credit to our account). The local property management company took no responsibility or positive action.Again, the property itself is great - just know that it is about 3 miles outside of Wimbelry on Old Kyle Rd.

We went when there was a drought so few flowers or green grass. Check out overall conditions before going! The property is acceptable for the price. It was well supplied with kitchen equipment. The best thing about the cabin was the comfortable beds with nice sheets. In the photos, there’s a nice creek behind the cabin. The cabin next door had a paved path to it which ours didn’t have.

The cabin was peaceful, and with ut just being the two of us, it was more than enough space. We wish there had been water in the creek, but you cant control mother nature. Thank you for a peaceful place to be!

Quick weekend getaway. Everything was great. Easy check in, beautiful property. We would stay here again.

Wonderful home. Spacious and quite clean. Bed was comfortable. Hot tub and outdoor space was nice and relaxing. The host was very kind and helpful. Have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this is one of the few I would come back to.

Was in Wimberley for a wedding and stayed at the VRBO before we could get to the wedding property. Beautiful property just as described. We had to work remotely all day one day and wifi was excellent. Would certainly return!

This is a nice spot. Convenient location. Only a few miles from Wimberley. The bed was not very comfortable. It would have been nice for there to be firewood for the outdoor pit and the fireplace. Especially in winter with how cold it has been lately.

We had a great stay, the cabin is beautiful with great views on the back porch to enjoy morning coffee and meals! Cabin was very clean and comfortable and hosts are very responsive to questions and concerns! Looking forward to visiting again, this is by far one of the best cabins we have stayed in!!

It’s a beautiful little cabin by the creek, with a nice fireplace and even a jacuzzi on the deck overlooking the creek. It snowed our last night there, which made it amazing to wake up to, too bad we had to leave.

We loved the property! It was perfect for our two night getaway. Loved the hot tub, fireplace and its close proximity to Wimberly. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect location, close enough for all the hiking trails and downtown Wimberly, but also far enough away from everything that you felt you had your own private getaway. Loved relaxing in the hot tub after a long day out exploring all that beautiful Wimberly has to do! Loved the wrap around back porch. Wished there was water in the back creek but that is not in their control. But still a nice place to sit outside and relax.

This cabin has everything for a quiet, rejuvenate getaway. But if you enjoy all the action Wimberley has to offer, it is so easy to take in those activities as well.

Really like the location and quiet of the property. Very private. The front door knob was loose, and the inside fireplace grate needs to be replaced. I would also suggest some sort of turn in indicator off of the main road. Perhaps a collection of different headlight reflectors. It is very dark and hard to see where to safely turn off the main road.

The cabin was just as advertised. We loved the privacy of the home and the large covered porch on the back of the house. We found the accommodations to be clean and well kept.

The lock box did not open and they had to give me a second code to get in.

Enjoyed our stay. Nice and cozy. Fire pit was great and the hot tub was awesome! We would definitely stay again. There were towels in the dryer, so we used what we needed and left the rest in there. FYI.

Everything was accurate and as advertised. No surprises. Will definitely like to stay here again

Great Getaway!

The Falls Cabin was great. Perfect location, close to downtown Wimberly and hiking trails. Hot tub was a great added bonus on the cool nights.

We loved our stay at The Falls cabin. We had everything that we needed and we were so close to shopping and restaurants. We were a little bummed because the river at the cabin was so low but it was still beautiful. We’d absolutely stay again.

This beautiful log cabin was the perfect place to stay for a couples getaway! It had everything we needed and just minutes from the activities we had planned.

Cabin was stunning, clean and relaxing. Perfect place for our 13th anniversary. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to others.

Cute place but the waterfront needs cleaning out. I have a property in Kerrville on Upper Turtle Creek about the same width and depth. We had it cleaned dam to dam each neighbor paid their part. It helped keep the water levels up from natural springs and got rid of all the moss that grows. Improves the property value for everyone. If you want to swim or fish and have advanced notice you might want to offer half day pass at Blue Hole Park in the price. You really can't get in the water here or fish due to moss. The photos need to be updated. Overall Wimberly has really grown and is a super cute town. This is a nice quite spot close to the town square.

My wife and I needed to get away and this was perfect. Will stay again for in the near future. You may want to look into the numerous little black bugs on the bathroom sink. Also, the toilet runs if you do not take the top off of the sink and pull the chain out from under the flapper. The smell of fresh paint and perhaps some staining reminded me of some work I had just completed on our back deck and home. 👍👍👍👍👍

Just needed some time away and this cabin was a great place to unwind. I have no complaints. Great location!

Beautiful cabin and property. We enjoyed the convenience of town being close and realy enjoyed just relaxing in hot tub and taking in the beautiful surroundings. Exactly what we needed to get away for a few days.
