Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about the house and location was great. The one big problem was the bugs. Either mosquitos, bting flies or no see-ums were so bad some of us couldnt sleep at night due to scratching our bites. The bugs were as bad as we have ever seen. We ended up staying in most nights as the bugs were horrible. Id recommend an outside treatment or spraying the area. It was awful. Also, on a lesser note, the cockroaches were plentiful, mostly outside, a few inside.

It's well taken care of, and the dock and pool are in excellent shape. We'd definitely stay here again.

Location is great and beach is prefect for our grandkids and family. We will miss this next year but needed a week sooner and already booked. If we ever get the chance we will definitely rent again.

The French drain in front of the house needs to be cleaned. We had a thunderstorm one afternoon and we had about 2 inches of water inside the house at the front door.

There is a little walk to the beach. We really enjoyed the pool with a great gazebo for getting out of the sun and the dock for fishing and kayaking. The lot is beautiful, but there are little thorny balls in the grass, so the yard was not well suited for kids without shoes! Overall, it was a very nice rental and would probably rent again.

We found this one available for same week and booked. This is our annual family vacation that we do with all of kids, spouses and grandkids. There was 14 of us. House was great and new remodel was excellent.All had a great time. Pool and gazebo were perfect for outside fun. Beach was never crowded and only a 5 minute walk. Ice machine was perfect and well used. Kitchen had everything. Only thing missing was an ironing board so we purchase one. Already reserved for next year.

The biggest disappointment was the linen service. Some of the linens provided did not match the beds. Some linens labeled as king were actually queen. The same errors that were made last year. This service is not optional but it should be. I would definitely opt to provide our own linens. The keyless check in and check out process is a big improvement.
