Close to town, yet private, Andare is our home in Walla Walla, at the edge of the rolling wheat fields. (Just 3 miles to downtown WW) Our secluded home sits on 10 acres of farmland, surrounded by active farms. wine tasting and cultural events are a few minutes away. Our home allows a group space to relax and enjoy the private pool, sky and the summer breezes. The house is sheltered by an iconic row of poplar trees, visible from town, which allow shade and soothing sounds in the summer breeze. Looking East, the Blue Mountains rise above the horizon, while sunsets outline grain silos and beautiful cloud formations. Come stay and savor the sensory pleasures of being among friends - cooking in the kitchen, and relaxing with your new-found winery favorites. This house is best with adult couples- designed to accommodate 4 couples in harmony. On-site caretakers stay in a separate building on the property.
The house was perfect for 4 couples coming to Walla Walla for crush weekend. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by wheat fields and only 10 mins to downtown. We already discussed renting again in the summer so we can enjoy the pool. The house is well equipped even had board games and cards. We were even able to stream the college football games on the tv using our laptop. We will be back!
Clean home, beautiful sunsets… this home has everything you need for a fun getaway!
This property is very nice. You need to be aware that it is in the middle of nowhere but has a wonderful swimming pool and lots of peace and quiet. It was just what we ( 8 Adults) were looking for. Kitchen was very good. We could not use the washing machine because the well pump was not working properly which was a big disappointment and inconvenience. We made many attempts to contact the owner who had previously said he could do a temporary fix, but he never returned our calls and texts. So while the property is nice the customer service was sorely lacking.
This property looks fantastic in the listing and it more than delivered! Our group loved the house overall, especially the layout that balanced private spaces with group gathering spaces, the decor, the amount of outdoor seating areas, the sunset views, and, of course, the pool! The host was easy to communicate with and helped us out with a special request. Everything was absolutely perfect and everyone mentioned how great the house was!
Nice home in a lovely setting amongst the rolling hills just outside of Walla Walla. The host thought of just about everything a guest might need (or forget to bring) and stocked the home with those items. And having your own quiet pool to jump in on those 90+ degree afternoons (between wine tastings and dinner) was just perfect. Thank you! Thank you!
We came to spend time as two sets of empty-nester parents. Our goals were to relax, get away from our busy professional lives, try some of Walla Walla’s wineries and restaurants, and have some time together. The house exceeded all expectations. Located well out in the country, it is in a quiet, scenic location. Wow the scenery of Palouse wheatfields is not for everyone, the sense of solitude and quiet were welcome breaks from urban lives. The house is just a few miles out of town, so, while nothing is within walking distance, everything is within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Not that you need to go anywhere; the kitchen is well stocked, there’s lots of room for everyone, and the pool is large, clean, and very pleasant. As you might expect, the four of us only used two of the mini bedrooms. The house is quite capable of welcoming, many more people, but even for the four of us, things felt warm and welcoming. When we return to Walla Walla, we will look again for the same home. Five stars on every count!
Had a wonderful girls weekend here! Gorgeous views of the wheat fields from the pool, loved having the Adirondack chairs for lounging next to the pool too! Inside was really spacious and cool for reprieve from the outside heat. Would absolutely stay here again!
We loved staying at this home. We had a total of 3 couples in the house and we could have easily added a 4th couple, plenty of space. We staying in July so the pool was amazing. Very clean house. When we go back to Walla Walla with a group, we will stay at this home if available.
Great location and had a great time. Couple of things for owner info. There were a few ants in downstairs bathroom. The downstairs shower control needs attention. barbecue ran out of propane while cooking the only dinner we had at the property. Otherwise perfect.
This property was perfect for our stay in Walla Walla. It is close to the wineries and yet secluded and peaceful. We had everything we needed and more. Tom was awesome with his instant replies. and helpfulness. The two couples we stayed with are also looking to rent it again in the future. Gorgeous sunsets!
This house was very beautiful and a lovely environment for a getaway with three of my favorite couples. We took the basement room for a little more privacy and dark room sleeping, which we love. Our host was very communicative! The details, amenities and decor was thoughtful and tasteful. The only thing I would pay attention to as a renter is the proximity to Walla Walla wineries. It’s a little bit of a jaunt, so make sure you have a sober driver planned!!! One of our friends was pregnant.. so she was our shuttle which was helpful. The house doesn’t run a bit warm, so if you sleep hot, maybe crack a window. Thank you for a great time! Veronica
Lovely setting for our group’s visit. The house is very comfortable and stylish. Well equipped with all the essentials except a place to plug in and play music, so don’t forget your portable speaker. Bonus points for the resident cat that checked in on us each day! We had a great time visiting wineries & downtown. Oh! Forgot to mention the awesome pool. Overall an excellent house.
Beautiful rolling hill views from this nice Walla Walla property.
Gorgeous setting, comfy, clean, spacious, stocked, and close to vineyards and town.
About as clean of a home as it gets. Wonderful property, home, and amenities. Will stay again.
Once again we had a very comfortable stay. The house and pool are great. I love the kitchen. A great place to make memories. Our car had some battery issues and Tom was a great help. We loved seeing Baboo again. He is quite the feline host.
The house is clean and well equipped for four couples. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the grounds and the sunsets.
We have traveled to Walla Walla many times and have now found the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sunshine around the pool just a few miles away from fabulous vineyards and downtown Wall Walla
This was the perfect spot for a getaway with a small group of friends. Just outside of town on a great property with views of the countryside in every direction. Great kitchen. Comfortable beds. Accomodating hosts. We all loved it. Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back again.
We stayed here while attending my daughter’s graduation from Whitman College. It was far enough out of town to enjoy the sweeping views of the wheat fields and Blue Mountains, and close enough to take advantage of all that Walla Walla has to offer. The property was large enough to comfortably accommodate 8 adults with enough showers for everyone and a large yard to play in. It was clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend it. Also, there is a very friendly cat who welcomes all to the home. He should earn special treats for entertaining the guests!
We were awed by the beauty of the views and setting! Lovely décor and layout was a pleasure for the girls weekend- we got to play trivia and chat around the kitchen island. All beds were super comfortable and kitchen quite stocked for serving the dinner we prepared. Thank you!!
This was our first time in Walla Walla and we are so glad we stayed at Tom & Judy's wonderful home on the outskirts of Walla Walla amidst the rolling hills. It was quiet, very comfortable for our group of 5! Thank you, Tom, for the dining and tasting tips and sharing Babou with us. We will definitely stay again when wine tasting in Walla Walla.
