Poolside Game and Grille Retreat

We were in town for a family wedding and stayed here. The house had a super cool layout! The kids loved the pool… the house was clean and nice. The outside is misleading bc the inside has a lot to offer. We would stay here again for sure. Communication with the host was great & easy.

Thoroughly enjoyed this property. 8 old men were celebrating a life long friends 50th Birthday and couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The pool was a Huge success and the communication with property manager was easy and she continuously would check in with our group to ensure everything was going well. The check in and check out instructions were simple and for the most part everything was as advertised. We will definitely utilize this property again for our next friend's 50th birthday.

This very uniquely designed property was perfect for a family gathering in Jacksonville. We wanted a home large enough for 8 people that was located in that area of Jacksonville. Check-in was easy and management responded quickly to any needs and/or requests. Although we did not use the pool, it was clean and inviting. There were plenty of towels and linens as well. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies too.

Overall, my family was happy with the property and had a good time. The listing is an adequate representation of the property. I’ll add a few details and notes below but, in summary, we’d stay here again. There was a slight mix up at check in and house keeping was mid-clean when we arrived around 5 p.m. They said they weren’t expecting a party to check-in that day, but we just stayed out of the way until they were finished. Communication with the host was very easy and they promptly addressed any questions or concerns we had. Being a brand new rental, there are still a few kinks to work out - minor stuff (ex: some bathrooms had no trash can). There are great grocery and shopping options just a few minutes from the house. Running back to the store numerous times after forgetting things was only a minor inconvenience. The kitchen had everything we needed, though an outdoor grill would have been nice. The pool is very deep! That was a lot of fun but, in combination with getting only partial sunlight, means it might be colder than you’re used to. We arrived in early April. It was not too cold for the kids to swim all day or the occasional dip for the adults. Keep in mind that the pool is not heated. The master bed was very comfortable! We were pleasantly surprised. The kids thought their bunk bed was a bit squeaky but they may have been looking for reasons to argue while being forced to share a room… Check-in and check-out went smoothly. There was plenty of parking and the neighborhood was nice to walk around.

Lovely house but from the moment we walked in the pool was not clean. Couldn’t use the pool for my first two days out of 5. Around the pool was suppose to be pressure washed could have been better even according to the pool guy. Two of the 5 televisions had no cable box and were not smart tvs so my family couldn’t watch tv in their rooms. The remotes had no batteries and I fell out of one of the living room chairs because the leg was not properly attached. Through it all loved the house. Just a few hiccups
