Hot tub and pool, spacious home, great host

We enjoyed everything - the house, the pool and hot tub, the dock, the view and location.

Stayed with six girlfriends - the house was more than enough spacious, which we loved - we aren't used to everyone having their own bed! But the house is so large, with lots of sitting areas and a massive kitchen. Stu was a wonderful host too, extremely responsive. Only thing I rated less than 5 stars was the pool, only because the space was a little small for all seven of us and we couldn't all fit in the hot tub - which was only an issue because the pool is in the shade the majority of the day. Great for summertime visitors, just not as much the November since the temps aren't quite as high. Overall it is a wonderful location!!

This was a gorgeous property with so many amenities, fun for the entire family. The host was very helpful, especially with this being my first VRBO booking. I would live to return and would definitely recommend booking this property.

The property is amazing, there is much to do in the home. We enjoyed the pool right on the water, kayaks, and paddle boards. The house is fully stocked with everything you need and hosts were communicative. If your plan is to hit the beach, that was the only downfall. I read on the description the distance of beaches but also read some close beaches which there are not, the closest access is about 45 minutes away.

Great house for our two families. Very clean and comes with lots of amenities. Pool and hottub were a little smaller than we envisioned but we all enjoyed and had fun. The extras; paddle board, kyaks and fishing equipment were awesome!

We were so impressed with this house and Stu. Plenty of room, everything we needed, gorgeous views and Stu was available for anything we needed with a prompt reply. We are definitely looking forward to planning another vacation here!

This property was perfect for our spring break trip. House was everything and more as in descriptions. Perfect amount of space, with everything you need. From kayaks to paddle board to games in the garage there was plenty to do on property. There was also a water park across the lake and mini golf and bowling close by. Stu and Cathy responded almost instantly to any question we had.

We loved our stay at Schell-Topia! The house was amazing and the perfect size for 8 adults and three kids ages 2,3, and 5. There's lots of space, which made the stay much more enjoyable. Stu and Cathy were very pleasant to deal with, He answered every question I had very promptly. We enjoyed using the bicycles, kayaks, hot tub, and heated pool! We will not hesitate to stay at this property or one of their other properties in the future! Thank you Stu and Cathy for a great exeriece!

Home was clean, spacious and 100% consistent with the description and exceeded our expectations

The house was very nice and the common area with the kitchen in the living room or part space for all of us. It was perfect. He had a problem with the heat the first four days which was very hard because we were all very cold. The weather wasn’t cooperating. The highlight of the trip for the property for us was the hot tub.!! because the weather was so cold. The pool couldn’t keep up being heated… love the garage area with the air hockey and shuttle board. That was a lot of fun for us and a large living room where we could all gather.!!

We had an exceptional experience. Everything we needed and then some. Would visit again.

beautiful house on kennedy lake with pool, hot tub, and toys for adults. didnt have a boat but fished off of dock. stu and kathy are a great couple. all 12 in our party really enjoyed the house and things to do close by. would come back again.

We enjoyed our time at Schell-Topia. The home was beautifully decorated and contained everything that you would need. The outside view was picture perfect. The kids loved playing air hockey in the garage, too. Can't say enough, hosts were very helpful and made us feel at home. We would highly recommend!

I searched many homes for our Family Reunion and 90th Birthday celebration for our Mother. The Schell-Topia property hit the mark on every level. Both the outdoors and indoors are well kept. It is located on a beautiful lake, large enough for boating, fishing, Kayaks, etc The Kitchen is full of all kinds of Cookware, Dishes, utensils, etc. Plenty of leftover spices from previous renters. The bedrooms were perfect for our family and the beds very comfortable. Plenty of towels, pillows. 2 sets of washer/dryer and great storage available for extended stays. Pretty much everything was in working order. The pool was great and temperature was perfect. Stu & Kathy were great with communications. I highly recommend this home and will likely stay here again in the future!

This home was in a great location on Lake Kennedy and had plenty of space for our large family. It fit our needs perfectly. The home was very clean and well stocked. The kids enjoyed the outdoor space and pool. The communication with the host was exceptional and they even were able to get us in the home a little early since we arrived in town that morning. Would definitely recommend!

Our family had an amazing time! The kids had lots of fun as they had plenty of things to do in the house. Very quiet neighborhood. The water park recommended was great and literally 5 mins away! We were beyond happy with our stay!

We had a perfect week at the beautiful Schell-Topia. Eight of us (two 50+ parents and six kiddos ages 14 - 25) found the house to be the ideal spot to spend our vacation. The house was not only beautiful, but also extremely clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space for us to spend time together, and also for everyone to have a little quiet time when needed. We spent countless hours in the pool and hot tub during the day and into the evening. After dark we loved sitting on the dock watching the stars and talking. The location was great, close to Fort Myers where we spent an evening at Top Golf, and an easy drive to gorgeous Captiva where we spent a day. The star of the week was really the house though. Stu and Cathy have thought of everything to make a week at Schell-Topia just amazing. They are easy to communicate with, extremely responsive, and truly a joy to work with. I would highly recommend the amazing Schell-Topia for your rental needs, you won’t be disappointed!!
