Kitchen was available and stocked for cooking. The grounds were well kept. Overall was very happy with the host and cottage.

Fabulous! Extremely clean and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. Very quiet and peaceful. The outdoor areas are wonderful-putting green right outside the front door. Close to everything. Communication with host was great with easy clear directions. 10 out of 10!!

We had a great time. Very relaxing. Loved having the use of the pool and sauna. Kitchen with amenities was wonderful. Bonus for the portable cooler for day trips and bringing lunches. Highly recommend this place.

Everything went great

The Safari Cabin was perfect!! Well equipped with everything you need and more! Quiet but centrally located to so much. We traveled to SD for our daughter’s softball tournament and some college tours. It was 15-25 minutes from everywhere we needed to go. The pool and yard are spacious, fun and nice to relax in after a day at the fields. Sandy is absolutely incredible! She is responsive and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stand and will definitely be back!!

Normally I’m a little suspicious when all the reviews are 10s but decided to give this place a shot anyways. We are so glad we did. It’s everything it says it is and more. Sandy is very easy to communicate with and goes the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need for your stay. We will definitely stay here again if we are in San Diego!!

Centrally located to all amenities. A very private setting with pool, hot tub, and mini golf. Satisfied all of our needs.

Loved our stay here, the pool and spa were fantastic, no more than a 30 min drive from everywhere we wanted to go but felt like we were out in the countryside away from it all.Great communication from the host making the whole process stress free, we will definitely be looking at an another longer stay in the future.

So welcoming with lots of entertainment opinions.The pool and landscaping is absolutely gorgeous. The guys in our family had a golf tournament that got quite funny and competitive.Lots of good memories made.

The Safari Cabin is in a lovely location surrounded by beautiful trees and blooming plants. It is attached to the main house and is set up very well for privacy. The hosts are gracious and friendly. The pool and hot tub are really nice and the hosts are accommodating regarding guests using them. We had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. So much nicer than staying in a hotel! Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. It was a great spot for watching birds. We saw a really nice variety of songbirds. Going up to the top of Mt. Helix was very cool and so close! We would stay there again if we return for another visit to the area.

The Safari Cabin is a beautiful, relaxing place to stay. It has a lot of room and is well stocked to make your stay feel like home. Sandy is fantastic and very helpful. Will stay here again when back in San Diego

Very cute safari themed one bedroom! Fully stocked! Has everything you need and then some. Great location for us while visiting family. Would absolutely stay here again!

Close to great restaurants and Golf

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very nice home in a great location. I wouldn't hesitate to book it again in the future. The property is beautiful. Our family had a great time in San Diego and this home is a short drive to all major attractions in the area.

Had some family in for the holiday. Location was very convenient and perfect for the family.

Property was clean and secure. We were impressed with how nicely provisioned it was. Sandy (owner) was available but not intrusive. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend.

Excellent location to San Diego by car about 25 minutes but we took the train in and enjoyed not being in traffic. The Safari Cabin had such cute decor. It was fully stocked with everything you need plus some. Very clean. The grounds were very lush and green, exactly like the pictures. Beautiful property. The only disappointment for us was the heater in the pool was not turned on and it was very cold. San Diego had an excessive heat warning while we were there for 9 days. We were only able to take quick dips but couldn’t enjoy the pool. We had brought it to Sandy’s attention but for some reason was never turned on during our 9 day stay. Overall we would definitely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at the safari cabin. It’s in a quiet, safe area which was important to me as a solo traveler. The cabin itself was spotless and well-stocked. The outdoor spaces are wonderful and I’m bummed that I didn’t have time to use the pool. Sandy and her husband were gracious hosts. I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the safari cabin was great. The rooms are bigger than they seem, and our boys truly enjoyed having full access to the pool on a daily basis. Other than 1 day where we went to Legoland, we spent almost all our other time at the property swimming or resting in between with shows. We also loved the putting greens, rope swing, and my youngest loved digging in the sand of the horseshoe pit, which are all on the property grounds. The owners were easy to communicate with and was very friendly. They never hesitated to provide us with anything to make our stay more comfortable. We’ll be back!

Dad and I stayed in the safari cabin to play some golf and watch my son play in a soccer tournament! Cabin is super clean, quiet, pool and hot tub are outstanding! Did some chipping and putting on the greens in the yard. Was well stocked with many spices and condiments, which was great! Having the coffee pods stocked was a nice plus! Communication with Sandy was great! Will stay again!
