Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
Summary:
This adorable beach cottage has it all, and it's bigger than it looks! With 3 full-size bedrooms, 2 full baths, and back yard with an IN-GROUND POOL, big back deck, huge HOT TUB, gas fire-pit, and dual charcoal and gas-burning BBQ, this home has everything you need for an unforgettable beach trip. Linens are included too!
The Space:
2 bedrooms on main level, along with living room, dining area and kitchen, and screened porch. Upstairs is a play area, two twin daybeds, a full bedroom and a full bathroom. Backyard has a planting area, deck, picnic table, sitting area, hot tub and gas firepit. You'll love the 3 KING SIZE BEDS, two of which are tempur-pedic, plus the two twin beds are great for kids.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the home 24x7 from the time of check-in using a code on the door. Note that pool and yard contractors will come on their own schedule to cut the grass, and clean the pool and garden to keep the grounds maintained.
The Neighborhood:
Just TWO blocks to Rehoboth Avenue, you can easily walk to the beach, the boardwalk, all the shopping along the main drag and my personal favorite, Dogfish Head brewery (great food too!) just two blocks away.
Getting Around:
So close to restaurants, shops and more along Rehoboth Avenue (just a five minute walk to Dogfish Head), plus an easy walk/bike/drive to the beach (20 mins walking, 8 mins biking, 3 mins driving) and also super easy to get to route 1, this home is in a great location. Don't forget the best breakfasts are right around the corner at the Egg and RiseUp!
Other Things to Note:
This is a 1930's era bungalow and the room sizes and steps are small. We love this home but please understand the key word here is "cute" (and maybe "comfortable"), but not "grand". We tried to put in all the comforts we are used to at home, from spices and baking basics to gas cooking and two fire pits, but please don't arrive expecting the Ritz-Carlton. Unlike many other rentals, we provide sheets and towels, but we do ask you make the beds. Thank you!
We have games for the kids, a full-size kitchen with gas cooking, and a pet "relief" area too.
It's only 20 minutes walk to the beach, and just two blocks to Dogfish Head and the shopping and dining along Rehoboth Avenue.

The house has a lot of charm and is clean/updated. It’s beautiful! The backyard is exactly as advertised in pictures- beautiful! The property manager was easy to contact and extremely helpful. Great place, great stay! Not one complaint.
If you’re like me and the backyard amenities were what drew you to the property, know that the state of the back yard is not at all as advertised as of August 2022! I went for my bachelorette party, this house was booked in April. The property manager contacted me LESS THAN 48 HOURS prior to check in, to let me know that the pool wasn’t ready and the yard was a mess. He did however offer another property, but it had no yard amenities. We got there to find that the code provided was incorrect, the pool was COMPLETELY unfinished, the yard was hazardous, there was no fire pit or lights, the hot tub kept shutting off, all kinds of issues. In addition, there was no parking available aside from the one car in the driveway. Free street parking was originally promised, but turns out it was a high fee for a permit. And the property manager claimed that I had not paid in full and that I owed the full amount when I in fact paid for it IN FULL back in April. Horrible property manager, not truthful, and not as advertised. The house, however, was beautiful and very clean. Just be aware if you are drawn to what the yard has to offer. The property manager was rude and unhelpful the entire trip, he caused such an inconvenience for what should be a once in a lifetime event. He did discount me a small percentage which ONLY came off of the house fee, none of the additional fees that I paid. A VERY small amount back on an EXTREMELY expensive house with all of these issues seems a little subpar. Last thing to note.. I was referred by him as “lady” in response to my message voicing concerns. He did not apologize and I was made to feel as a nuisance.
Wonderful property! Short walk to the Main Street for all your needs, but backyard is the show stopper! Highly recommend! Clean and comfortable!
