Stayed Jun 15, 2024We had an amazing time. We celebrated my daughter’s 15th birthday and the home had everything we needed. The hosts quickly answered all of my questions. Looking forward to next year.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our vacation was a combination of 3 families with 7 children under the age of 10. The layout of the house was wonderful allowing each family to have privacy and separated sleeping spaces. The home was well stocked from the kitchen to pool games to beach supplies. I especially appreciated how well secured the pool was with a lock that separated the pool from the house. Having the pool heated was a nice benefit with the cooler / cloudy temperatures we had for late May. We would definitely stay again

Stayed Jul 16, 2022We spent a great week at Salty Soul with another family, 14 total. The layout of the house was very accommodating for our group. The pool and hot tub area was clean and we enjoyed the grill and outside bar table. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and glassware/silverware. The beach was an easy two block walk and minutes away from groceries. Lots of dining spaces at the house and decks to watch the sun rise and set. Great home!!

Stayed Jun 25, 2022This house was awesome! This is probably one of the cleanest and most modern houses I've ever stayed at in OBX. The house is clearly maintained very well. All the beds were king (with the exception of two kids rooms). The beds were all comfy. It was very conducive for a large group with little kids. Our favorite area was the pool area. The pictures posted do not do it justice! The pool area was huuuuge, and included a bar area plus ample lounge-type seating. The pool was bigger than most OBX houses I stayed in. We took advantage of the volleyball court area as well - played drinking games out there and wiffleball with the kiddos. The walk to the beach was relatively short (approx 5 minutes); but we rented golf carts for the week to make it easier to get around with all our beach stuff. We never had issues with the wifi. An additional perk was that the owners provided access to Netflix, Disney, etc. While we have our own accounts for those TV apps, it was nice to avoid the hassle of logging in and whatnot. Oh and when we arrived, we had a complimentary charcuterie board waiting for us. Overall, awesome house and stay! Would definitely recommend.

Stayed Jun 11, 2022We had a family beach trip with over 10 people. House was perfect . Space for everyone including my 2 and 4 year old. Pool has a safety fence and is off the downstairs floor. My only advice is try to avoid rush hour times when you drive . Traffic on the island can be insane.

Stayed Apr 18, 2022We decided to take Spring Break 2022 with 3 generations of family. There were grandparents as old old as 80, 50 year old parents and children/grandchildren as young as 15. Everyone had their own space with the great layout, teens on the 1st level next to the heated pool and hot tub (deciding factors for the rental based on the cool temps most of the week), grandparents and younger sister (42 yrs old) on the 2nd level and parents on the 3rd level for privacy! Seating area with tv on every level, wi-fi and fully equipped kitchen. The beach was short pleasant walk thru a seemly great neighborhood. Couldn't have ask for a better house or host. The only thing that would have made the stay better was warmer weather!!! Would rent the Salty Soul again without any hesitation!
