Stayed Mar 1, 2025The yard was fenced in which is great for my dog. The house was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed our stay very much. Easy to get to punta gorda airport. Pool is very nice. Did not realize it wasn’t heated but was still warm enough to go in for the weeks we were there. Overall great area. Beaches were closed due to the hurricane so we travelled to Venice which is only an hour away. Would rent in port charlotte again.

Stayed Jan 2, 2025The windows are push windows. Someone broke in while I was away, leaving the plastic latch from the windows in the advertised children's room. The hosts code didn’t work when I arrived. She causally told me she is driving and will get back to me with the code after paying her 6,000 to check in. The pool has no heater. The garage is dirty with open air ducts. It is not stocked. Her family stops by the property and I think her brother and his girlfriend live there in between guests. It’s a residential area, neighborhood that under code compliance in Port Charlotte - the house should not be allowed to rent. The host was extremely careless and won’t invest in proper windows, security systems, and the backyard is PITCH BLACK at night time I almost bought my own lights and cleaned the home myself. It’s an investment property they overprice and overcharge and none of the neighbors are happy about that. This was one of my worst VRBO stays, I complained too last minute to recieve a full refund though VRBO agreed, that experience is not within their policy.
