Pool and hottub were amazing and host was super helpful and very communicative. Great location!

Host very responsive. The heated pool kept grandkids content for hours and hours.

House was an excellent option for our weekend.The house was clean and furnished as described. Hosts were very helpful and willing to accommodate us when it looked like we were going to exceed the house occupancy on one of the nights.The hosts do monitor what is happening at the house which is an absolute positive as far as I am concerned.The outdoor area (pool/spa/grill/furniture) is fantastic and was used by us all weekend when not at the beach. All facilities were clean and functioning.As per my comment above, hosts were responsive and supportive.This house and hosts are highly recommended.Thank you for accommodating us, and for a great stay!

Great stay at this wonderful home. The kids had an awesome time in the pool. Played pickleball on the sports court, and loved that it was walking distance to the beach. Great spot in La Jolla. Hope we can return sometime soon!

Great location. Rooms are very spacious. Pool is nice. We had everything we needed.The water filter in the refrigerator needs to be replaced according to the red light on the refrigerator door every time you get water.There needs to be more screens on windows so you can leave the house open when you are there and not have any flies come in.There is not much shade around the pool. I would suggest adding some patio umbrellas. no one in our party wanted to sit in direct sunlight for more than a few minutes.

Home has an amazing amont of gathering spaces, active and quite both indoor & outdoor. Pool & spa used every day. Great game areas, pool table, card tables etc.

We had a great time at the property. Three couples and three kids. Very well stocked with all the appliances you would need for a trip. The pool and hot tub were great! It was a little difficult to figure out the app for the hot tub controls at first but once I switched to the Remote connection from the Local connection I was able to get everything working well. It is about a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach so bring a wagon if you have kiddos who can't carry their own gear or have a lot to haul. The layout of the house was great. Two back bedrooms are well isolated from the rest of the house which let my parents and brother and his wife sleep in easily while our early riser children played in the front room. Overall had a great time and would definitely consider staying here again for a larger group on our next trip.

Large spaces, clean, a bit run down. Furniture was old and uncomfortable. The outdoor activities could use updating. Location was perfect for our group.

Our 3 families stayed here for almost a week. Meghan was a great host. The house fit us very well with 3 main suites and a kids room. The billiard room was a fun addition. We had the pool heated which was a game changer. The kids loved hopping from the hot tub to the pool and playing with all the pool toys. The tennis court was a great place to ride the scotters we brought and attempt tennis. Walking to coffee in the am and to the beach was easy. All the kids could walk the 4 blocks (across a very busy street that no one stops for pedestrians) to the beach. We had a great time and would come back again.

This 5 night stay one of the best family gatherings we could have had! From house to location to activities it was nearly perfect!

We stayed for a long weekend, just before Christmas. Even though it’s December, the pool l(heated) and hot tub were used every day. Lots of fun in the San Diego sun! We really enjoyed the spaciousness of the house, and an ample amount of bathrooms, for our large group. The walking distance to the beach, local shops and restaurants was nice. Also, it’s very quiet in this neighborhood, so you will be able to enjoy the peace. Overall, we would love to come back to this property another time.

We enjoyed our stay very much! It was perfect for a family gathering, plenty of spaces to hang out, play games, sit by pool, and eat together. We especially enjoyed the spa and pool! We would definitely come back!!!

It’s a lovely home. The pool and spa were used endlessly. Close to beach and outdoor restaurants. It was a great find for 9 of us.

We had a group of 8 adults and two babies and this house was great! Walking distance to shops/restaurants/beach but off a quieter street and with our own space so we had plenty to do if we wanted to stay home. Hosts were very responsive and helpful.

The property was roomy and had a beautiful pool and spa, although the pool would have been a bit deep for young children. It came with a nice assortment of beach and pool equipment (beach chairs, tubes, etc.) The location was about a 10 minute easy walk to the beach and shops/restaurants. There were some minor maintenance items that could be addressed (screens for some windows, some furniture could be in better shape).

We really enjoyed our stay- the best beach in San Diego was only a ten minute walk away. The pool was lovely and refreshing after a sandy day at the beach. This was a comfortable house for three married adult children with partners plus grandkids. The fans helped make it comfortable even without AC. I’d go back!

We stayed here with our extended family for our daughter’s graduation from UCSD. It’s a charming place close to UCSD and a few minutes walk to the beach.
