Pool and Fenced-in Deck, 100 yards to the Beach! 2 Minutes to Seaside

This house was exactly as described though it's hard to put into words just how great it is! Surprisingly spacious with plenty of rooms for everyone, including on the TWO outside decks/porches that wrap around the front and side of the house. My wife and I loved enjoying our morning coffee on the top porch while looking out to the ocean while the kids/teens enjoyed the lower deck. Location is incredible - SO easy to get to the beach with plenty of room to pitch our umbrellas and enjoy time in the Gulf. We forgot something a time or two and it literally took 10 minutes to go back, get the item(s), and be back on the beach...VERY convenient!Then there's Seaside and all the food trucks / restaurants. Very walkable to get into town (10 minutes) and enjoy all the Seaside has to offer.Between the beach, good food, shopping, and just a great place to relax, our vacation at this home is one we won't ever forget and one we're likely to want to try again!

This house was absolutely perfect. The beds were so comfortable with top notch blankets and pillows. The bikes were such an amazing touch. We will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was perfect! Only steps away from a beach access point. And it was only a couple of blocks walk to the town Square where everything happens! The house fit our entire family, and we have room for more had they been invited. The kitchen was more equipped than any I have ever seen. I don’t believe there was a thing we needed that we could not find in that kitchen! Although we did not use the bikes, there were six available for our use there. Our golf cart was waiting at the property when we arrived, and picked up the day we left. The pool was heated as requested and my grandchildren really enjoy it. My only suggestion is that they update the description of “where you will sleep“ and the pictures. The second bedroom on the main floor was described as having one double bed and a set of bunkbeds. The pictures also indicated this. In actuality, there were two sets of bunkbeds in that room. We made it work, but had kind of planned around the set up shown in the pictures. We would definitely stay at this property again! We had a great time and the space was perfect for our family.

Overall, nice stay. I had read the other reviews and would say it's all pretty accurate. Construction is all over the area, so it didn't bother us (I'm not sure you can find a street in the Seaside area without construction - try Watercolor, which is mostly now developed, so there is less construction). But we preferred being able to walk across the street to the beach, easy bike ride to tennis courts/playground, easy walk to the amphitheater. It's really a 5 bedroom - downstairs bunk room would be ok for teens, but not overly comfortable and would be tough for younger kids. Having bikes was helpful - had an issue with 1 and they sent someone to replace the next day, so very responsive. The ping pong table has a lot of bumps on it so the ball didn't bounce (not sure if fixable, but we had chosen this house over another in same area for the ping pong table). We had 2 families, so we chose the location and space.

The home is very clean and spacious with high ceilings and room to spread out over 3 levels. The top level has a second small living area with upholstered chairs, game table, TV, and small frig. - it's perfect for a second space for large groups. Hardwood floors, moldings, and soft paint colors give the home a cozy and upscale feel. The kitchen is very well stocked and has all-new stainless-steel appliances and updated lighting (not shown in current pics). We slept very comfortably and loved the memory foam bedding! (our room had a beautiful, updated ceiling fan - not shown in pics)The location of Just in Thyme is fabulous as it is slightly tucked away on a beautiful tree-lined side street but within very easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We enjoyed bike rides (bikes included with the rental!) to Seaside (.4 miles away) for eating and shopping followed by extended rides on a paved bike path over Western Lake to the local state park. A few other highlights during our stay were a fresh fish market just down the road, short evening walks to dinner in Seaside, morning coffee (home has a large 14-cup coffee maker) in the oversized and comfortable furniture, cooking meals in the well-stocked kitchen (everything is labeled and easy to find), a dining table big enough for our group to have meals at one end and an on-going puzzle at the other and opening the balcony doors to the ocean breeze. We had a fabulous week and look forward to our next stay!

Over all the place was great! Very close to beach and Seaside. There are 2 downsides that I will Mention: 1) Construction next door started at 7AM Tuesday - Thursday 2) The Bikes are not good. The chains kept falling off leaving kids strained and 1 adult injured.
