This home is advertised as a luxury rental ideal for groups and special occasions, but it did not live up to its description.I booked this property for my sister’s wedding weekend and paid a premium expecting a polished, comfortable space for 12 guests. At check-in, we received no entry code or instructions. I had to call the host—who seemed unaware of our reservation—to gain access. Had he not answered, we would have been locked out entirely.More significantly, the air conditioning failed during the entire stay while outdoor temperatures hovered in the mid-80s. I contacted the host Saturday morning; he attempted a fix but never resolved the issue. The home remained sweltering and unusable. We had professional hair and makeup artists scheduled on-site, but due to the heat, makeup melted off, hairstyles fell apart, and we had to abruptly relocate the bridal party to another location to get ready. Only two of twelve guests remained in the house by Saturday night due to the unbearable conditions.Additionally, the listing indicates that street parking is permitted. Relying on this, guests parked on the street—and received parking tickets. I followed up with the host afterward regarding these issues and received no response.I have documentation of everything. This property did not offer the basic comfort, communication, or professionalism expected from a luxury rental at this price point. I would not recommend it.
