Quietly located less than a 5-minute drive from the Plitvice Lakes National Park, this charming pet-friendly holiday retreat is surrounded by the most beautiful countryside with a small river running through the fields nearby. Arranged over two floors, the property comfortably sleeps six guests and is ideally set up for alfresco living with a large, covered terrace furnishedwith a rustic wooden table, benches and a big brick BBQ grill.

Inside, the detached house enjoys two living spaces, one on the first floor, which provides a quiet space for reading, playing cards and relaxation. The second open-plan space is situated on the ground floor and is furnished with a large L-shaped sofa, an armchair, a digital flat-screen HDTV and a dining table. This area also incorporates the fully equipped kitchen, which is fitted with: an induction hob, dishwasher, a coffee machine and a fridge freezer.

The property is located less than a 5-minute drive from the Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of Croatia's most iconic and visited natural attractions. The park itself is a UNESCO World Heritage site and features 16 interconnected lakes arranged in cascades, numerous waterfalls and lush forests. Visitors can explore the park through a network of well-maintained wooden walkways and hiking trails.

The area around Plitvice Lakes is a nature lover's paradise, offering a mix of water-based attractions, caves, and scenic landscapes. Whether you're interested in exploring natural wonders, engaging in outdoor activities, or experiencing local culture, this region has much to offer.

Popular excursions include; a trip to Rastoke (a 45-minute drive) a charming village known for its watermills, waterfalls, and the confluence of the Slunjčica and Korana rivers, a visit to the Kuterevo Bear Sanctuary (a one-hour drive) where visitors can observe and learn about the bears in a natural environment or a guided tour of the Barać Caves (a 40-minute drive away) which are known for their impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations.
