Pisgah Adventure Cottage | Brevard/Asheville, Waterfalls, Hiking, Breweries!

Had a lovely stay. Very clean. Wish the weather had cooperated so we could've enjoyed the outside amenities. Only downside of the property is the driveway. Definitely need AWD or 4WD. Would recommend the property to others very enjoyable stay.

Clean, spacious and close to so much to do

Property was clean, beautiful, and easy to find. The property management company sent redundancies/ over-communicated, had a faulty website, and practically requires your first born to rent from them. I had to create a rule in my mailbox for all the emails they sent me. Even with all the information I couldn’t figure out where to put the garbage because the multiple sources had conflicting information.

The house was clean and the property was great. The pantry door was a little off the tracks which was mildly irritating, but not a dealbreaker by any stretch of the imagination. Firewood was included, which was not expected, as were linens and bedding; nothing felt incomplete. Communication with the host was complicated; in order to access info about the VRBO I had to go through a portal within a portal, which was cumbersome, though the host do readily respond to any sent texts via the app-within-an-app. Felt like there were frustrating barriers setup between the host and guest; more corporate than inviting. Also, I had to sign a fairly extensive rental agreement for our stay, which was a bit heavy and unnecessarily intimidating for a little weekend getaway (personal opinion; I can understand it if they frequently run into unruly guests, maybe). Ultimately, the house itself was a good place to stay, and we had a good time. Just some cold and seemingly unnecessary bureaucratic hoops to jump through in the rental process that modestly complicated planning.

The House lived up to its name! We had numerous great Pisgah Adventures during our stay! The house was very well situated for some great hiking and gravel biking adventures in Pisgah National Forest (near Brevard and Mills River) as well as in Dupont State Forest, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Great location for trout fishing adventures in rivers and streams in these forests as well. And close to downtown Brevard for great dining options. The house more than met our needs - there were way more beds than we needed!

Pet friendly, very comfortable

The photos are quite old and should be updated. It appeared as though no one had been to the property for a walk-through, nor has anyone rented it for some time. Furniture was tattered, some dishes in the cabinets were dirty, outdoor patio furniture was ripped and dirty, firewood stock was completely covered with leaves and wet, the host company did nothing to solve the issues. Nothing like the photos.

This house is absolutely phenomenal. While it was only my husband, our dog, and myself, so we didn't have time to enjoy all of the house in such a short time frame, but we will definitely be back in the future. So close, yet so far away from everything. Perfectly secluded. Driveway is a bit tricky if you don't have 4-wheel drive, but we managed. We absolutely LOVED this house and will be back. Very clean, very well maintained. Plenty of rooms and activities. We loved it.

We loved staying here!! Such a great location central to lots of hiking and waterfalls. We enjoyed walking around the property on all the hills as well! We have two boys ages 3 & 4 who enjoyed the 'hideout'. The firepit was also great for evenings outside.The house is much bigger than we anticipated, we enjoyed having all the space. Kitchen is also fully stocked for all your cooking needs and even Tupperware for leftovers to use. The one thing we suggest is a dehumidifier in the downstairs area. It smelt pretty musty the whole time, we even bought a wax burner to mask the smell. Even though we washed clothes there, we ended up washing all of our things when we arrived home due to the smell.

Beautiful property and area we will be back again

We loved this rental. Beautiful home tucked back in a small woods setting right off a major highway leading to anywhere you want or need to go! Very spacious home inside and out! Beautiful front yard with the deck and rocking chairs, big beautiful back yard (our dogs loved it), fireplace, creek. Big spacious clean rooms! We would love to book this rental every vacation we visit!

Great stay!!

Spacious, kid friendly cabin. My boys loved making s'more's in the fire pit and playing in the stream out back. Plenty of space for our family and love having different living areas on each floor. Very steep driveway. Close drive to pisgah and dupont for waterfall hikes!

So cozy and comfy! We spent most of our time inside with our little babies! They had a blast.
