This house is a 10-12 minute walk to the beach (3 blocks). We loved that there was an outdoor shower where we could rinse the sand off before dragging it into the house. The couch and chairs in the living room were SO COMFY! We loved just relaxing there after a long day. We also enjoyed the front porch; our older teenage kids hung out there in the evening. It is a great reading spot and when the ocean breeze kicks in....SO NICE! The decor was nice and beachy themed. There was a basket full of reading (books) for the book lovers out there, the house also had a puzzle for those interested. I thought these were nice touches to keep people entertained. My only suggestion would be to add shampoo/conditioner/lotion to the travel size items in the bathroom. We had been on a week long away from home, at a hotel that had supplied everything. This was a last minute decision to head to the beach, so having some of those things handy would be nice for families like us that were there for a short visit and may not have been prepared. Overall this was an excellent visit and we will keep this property in mind the next time we visit Galveston!

We look forward to visiting again next summer, home was lovely and better than described. Only downside was full size beds, but wonderfully comfortable!! Home is lovely and clean and fully equipped!!

You'll sign a 19 page rental agreement. But Ryson employees will conduct themselves in an unprofessional manner. Doing things that will disrupted your stay. Then stating policies that ARE NOT written or verbally addressed anywhere! These unspoken or written policies caused a grandmother and her (2) grandkids 10 months & 3 years to be locked out of the home. They had to walk 2 blocks to get help. Also maintenance failed to repair the issue, NO DRYER! The 19 page agreement/contract buts ALL responsibility onto the renter! If the so called policy is not in that agreement by contract law it doesn't exist

I was a bit disappointed in several small things. Overall it was a lovely house and our trip with family was a good one. But the small things made it annoying. Refidgetator didn’t seem to work at first and management company didn’t respond so we had to run to buy ice and store food in a cooler for the night. Management should’ve been more responsive. Only 5 towels when we were registered for 9 people. Come on folks! No hot pad so anything cooked we used a towel. Only one kitchen towel and 2 dishwasher pods. Stingy on the supplies. I am glad I thought to bring extra supplies for the kitchen. Extra paper towels and even extra TP. I think you can do better.

We had a great time. The advertisement made it seem we had an ocean view which we did not! It was within walking distance which helped the experience. Clean, well appointed.

Pirates Beach is a great clean and safe neighborhood. The house was very cute and clean as well. It’s a good walk to the beach so we took our own golf cart and it worked perfectly!

We booked this property in early June and it esteemed our expectations! We arrived at an immaculately clean home, with the air temperature just right. The media in each room was playing nice music with pretty images. Everything on the property was freshly painted and in perfect repair. The decor was beachy pleasant. The walk to the seashore really is only about 4 minutes. We really enjoyed the breezy front porch and had breakfast there every morning. Feel confident in booking this one. We would most certainly stay here again!

This is the best neighborhood in Galveston. The property was bright and clean. Everything was as advertised and check in/out was a breeze.
