Pirate's Cove, Large Home with Panoramic Views, Sleeps 10, Pets OK, Free WiFi

Beautiful home with a big kitchen and amazing views. We got busted by a family of deer a couple times and enjoyed the sunrise in the sunroom.

It was a wonderful day with all the amenities you could imagine. Views from every window. We walked to the beach. We drove to lawson‘s Landing and did some crabbing. It was wonderful.

We had a great stay at Pirates Cove despite an uncharacteristic severe winter storm. Much of the surrounding area lost power (as we did), but Shiela contacted us immediately with suggestions. The power returned and we had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The house is roomy and the fenced yard is perfect for dogs. We will definitely return for another stay.

This is our 2nd time at this house and we love it. The large kitchen and dining area is perfect for our family meals evening of playing board games together.

Really enjoyed our stay on this wonderful environment. Nobody wanted to leave.The home was very inviting, the beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was beautiful.

The house had absolutely everything we needed for bedding, kitchen utensils, cookware, dishes, etc. The house was very spacious with comfortable beds. We loved observing the deer and jackrabbits from the kitchen. The view of the ocean is great from the kitchen and dining table, but somewhat obscured from the sun porch by another house, but it is a comfortable space to play games at the table or lounge on the couch with a book (there are quite a few to choose from on the bookshelf). My only suggestion would be to add a table lamp next to the couch for reading at night. Beach is too far to walk, only because the house is at the top of a steep hill. It only took us maybe two minutes to drive. There is a 15 fee to park, unless you have a California poppy pass. Host was very pleasant to work with and responsive. Overall, a fantastic getaway for our family.

The house could use some exterior maintenance—our first impression was underwhelming. The front porch had bird droppings that hadn't been cleaned with an empty nest above. This was a concern with our dogs who wanted to investigate and get the droppings on them. The doormat was flipped on the grass with tons of ants underneath, possibly from spilled food.Inside, the house was fairly clean overall, though some areas like the window corners had visible cobwebs that accumulated over time and seemed to have been missed. The backyard also needed a bit more care. It would have been helpful to know ahead of time that the BBQ grill was charcoal.The listing mentioned a panoramic ocean view, but in reality, nearby houses blocked much of it.Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our stay—but for the price, we expected the home to be in better condition. A little more attention to detail would go a long way.

We like this property and it is very clean and the host is also very friendly. We definitely will recommend to my friends.

Been to this house before and they really did a nice job with the upgrade of furniture. The place is spacious with plenty stuff to cook with, sleep with and have a great game night. Definitely been ok’ing again in the summer time.

Pirates Cove is a great place to stay at Dillon beach. Lots of room, big kitchen and very relaxing.

This house was perfect for our large family and it was fully stocked with everything! The yard was huge and perfect for a bbq, the views were amazing and the crisp air was delightful. The only thing that will keep me from renting again is the furniture was very uncomfortable, boards under the couch made it hard to sit and the other couch you fall in it. The beds were so old and hard. If they updated the furniture it would make it so much better.

With two full baths, 3 bedrooms, views of the ocean and a fully enclosed yard, this home is very comfortable for a large group with dogs. The beds are quite comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking utensils, gadgets, appliances, etc. We also used the BBQ in the yard; plenty of space there for corn hole! It is, however, necessary to drive down to the beach, as this home is at the top of the hill overlooking the ocean; beautiful views!

We enjoyed a mini reunion at this home, which was very neat inside with enough rooms to accommodate us, the kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. The outdoor space could use a little love.

My friends and I had the best time here. Everything about the house was easy and clean. Excellent communication with the host. Highly recommend!

This house is perfect for large family gatherings that include small children and pets. The house was very clean and well stocked! There is ample space for gathering and the decor and furniture are durable and not fragile which is a relief with small children. We felt completely comfortable there and even the small kids want to come back. A huge plus is the fenced in yard where you can set up outdoor games and not worry if kids or pets are going to run off. The owner was SO considerate, responsive and helpful. We felt well taken care of !
