Pioneer Cottage Pristine 1 bedroom home, 5 minutes to All Star, private patio

Charming cottage perfect for parents with kids playing at ASV, which was less than 8 minutes away. Great communication with owner throughout the entire process from booking to check out. Definitely would recommend staying here!

This was a perfect place for myself and my 9 year old while my husband and other son stayed at All Star Village. It was clean, quiet, and so close to the fields. We would for sure stay here again!

Perfect for us! Location is perfect if you’re playing at all star village! Very clean! Barbara even had a cute little game that my hubby was obsessed with figuring out, and lots of other things there for you. A true homey experience. Cons: if you are older- the stairs are a little steep and you have to go down them to use the bathroom at night, but for us it was ok. Also “Baked and Brewed” around the corner for coffee and bagels! Sooo good and nice people. Thanks again Barbara!

My husband and I booked this cottage for the week our son stayed at All Star Village. Not only was it close by to the fields but also close to many restaurants and town. The cottage itself offered such a quaint charm and was the perfect spot and size for us to stay for the week. We woke up daily to seeing deer which we loved. The host was very thoughtful in leaving things for us and having everything we needed plus more and her communication was great. If wax also very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend staying here!

The cottage is so charming and was a perfect size for us. Woke up to deer daily and love how it’s tucked away. It’s very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend staying here.

Host where great.. Cozy place

We booked this place while our son played at Dreams Park. It is a good 25 minutes from the park. The house was wonderful and full of character. The hostess went above and beyond to make sure we were welcomed and comfy with extra amenities and toiletries in baskets. The only bedroom is up a flight of stairs. This could be an issue for some especially given the age of the house. The staircase is steep and the rail is very low. The bathroom is on the main level at the back of the house so if you need to use it in the middle of the night you have to go downstairs and through the entire house to get to it. Not an issue for us but could be a problem for some. The laundry room is in the basement which only has an outdoor access and requires you to go down some steps to get around to the back of the house where the door is located. This was a little bit of a pain since we would get back to the house later in the evening after dark. We didn't feel comfortable trying to go down to the laundry area in the dark let alone leave our clothes in the machines since the door did not lock. The machines themselves were very nice and clean and laundry supplies were provided. We enjoyed this property!

We had an amazing stay at Pioneer Cottage while our son played at Cooperstown All-Star Village. The listing was exactly as portrayed online. The cottage was super clean with many high end additions. Twice we watched deer meander through the property super close to the house. Barb was very accommodating and communicated with us throughout our stay. If we are back in the area we will definitely be reaching out to stay here again.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at the Pioneer Cottage! It was a 5 minute drive to the All Star Village to see our son play. It was a 5-10 minute drive into town to pick up supplies for a fully prepared kitchen to make any kind of meal you would need. Barbara was in touch with us before we checked in, and even got us in early and easily. The bathroom being downstairs isn’t the most convenient in the middle of the night but everything else is so nice in the end that doesn’t really matter. if we were ever to come back for another tournament, we would definitely stay here again.
