Our family felt right at home in this cabin! Check-in was smooth, hosts were friendly and responsive, we were provided with clear instructions. We were even able to check in early. Amenities were good and the rooms were clean, the place was accessible to activities/shops/restaurants. Our family had a memorable stay here!

Beautiful home in a beautiful tucked away neighborhood, and definitely worth what we paid for. Very close drive to a lot of the North Lake Tahoe/ Donner Pass ski resorts and attractions, and the home itself was very cozy, very well furnished, and In a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. You're about a 20-minute walk to some gorgeous lake views, but this neighborhood is fairly tucked away so you will likely want a car to get around. Highly recommended overall Just as a general heads up if you decide to book this property, and to no fault of the property owner, the driveway is pretty steep and iced over while we stayed there. Please use caution if arriving in the snow.

Tahoe Getaways made for an excellent stay during a very trying snow storm that saw us needing to extend stays on both sides of the visit. The house was exactly what we thought it was and wanted, and was well supported for the snow storm with shovels and a driveway plow.

This property has a true cabin feeling. Cozy but did not have dishwasher!!! My dogs had to go to ER vet because something in the house made then break out in hives. We had a mega snow storm and he street and driveway were not plowed.

We have stayed at Pineland Chalet 3 or 4 times and have always had a fantastic time with our 2 boys (15 and 17). This time we brought our dog which was an added bonus. I am giving 4 stars because some of the dinner plates from the cupboard were stuck together. We had to soak them to get them apart and since there's no dishwasher at this rental, it means dirty plates. Also, we didn't have a new sponge or any dish soap and were only provided with 2 dish towels for the week. When drying dishes for every meal, 2 towels are not enough. I was going to throw them in the dryer, however, there were wet sheets and towels that must have been left from the previous renters and they were sour and made the whole dryer sour smelling. I did call and housekeeping brought a sponge and a bottle of dish soap the same day.

Cozy house. Enjoyed the 5 day stay but suggest you change your internet provider as the internet connectivity is poor to non-existent. It made our stay very frustrating as could not access the internet and had to leave the house just to connect.
