Stayed Jul 9, 2025This is our third year using M&F for our Rangeley visits. We will be back next year. The communication through either email, text, phone or in person makes us to feel safe and relaxed. Things happen when they should and any minor problems are handled quickly and with resolution. Someone is doing a great job of running a business and hiring great people. Seamless. All the camps we have stayed at have been well stocked and clean. It is roughly three miles from Oquossoc and eight miles from Rangeley. Check their website for further details.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Quiet setting close to everything, spacious, homey, one level, two baths, comfortable beds, and level. Excellent service by the office before, during, and after our stay. Advertised as water access but does not have it. Could use another handrail on front steps.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Very nice house and property. Everything was great until after our fifth day there. We had several unannounced intruders come on the property totally unannounced. First, a pickup went into the driveway and a guy unloaded a shower enclosure and put it into the garage. Later on a crew from a cable company dug a trench with a machine to bury a cable from the house to a pole in the street. Another day a guy showed up with a small tractor and cut the entire lawn. The same day the land lady came into the house to unlock an outside door downstairs. While she was inside the house yet still another guy drove into the driveway trailering his boat. He parked it in the second garage that the land lady went downstairs to unlock. And the final thing that went south was the propane grill ran out of propane just as we had prepared two steaks for dinner. So much for peace and quiet on our vacation. We will never go back there. We rented this place and paid premium money to get away from the busy bodies in our lives for a short precious time. That never happened. We can do better next year.

Stayed Jul 28, 2023Very nice property. Not sure if there is access to Rangeley Lake as we could not find an access location. Property could use a Kurig type coffee machine rather than the old Mr Coffee style machine. Also most properties at this price point have basics such as a hair dryer etc. we will certainly consider this property again in the future.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Morton Furbish again found us a great house for our 3-night stay in July. It was perfect for two couples and also great for family. Cabin feel (nice knotty pine) with all the modern amenities. Open concept with new large great room and nice high ceilings. Bathroom plenty big enough with stall shower. Nice having the half bath. Big yard with lots of woods and wildlife sightings. Had a nice doe walkthrough and graze while we sat around the campfire. Having dock access for our boat was perfect, just a quick walk from the house. Didn't realize we needed to bring drinking water, so be sure not to forget yours. On our last day, found that we actually new the camp owners. Ended up enjoying a nice campfire and smores with them that evening. Morton Furbish has always been friendly and great in helping find nice rentals, exactly what we're looking for. They were very responsive when the fire detector started the low battery beeping. Being located in the cathedral ceiling too high for us to reach. The maintenance crew had it fixed in no time. We definitely will consider this rental again!

Stayed Jun 16, 2022This was our 2nd time staying at Pine Valley. We enjoyed our stay just as well as the first. This home is very cozy, kid friendly, and has everything you need for a relaxing home away from home experience. We only wish the weather would have been a little less cold and rainy for Father's Day weekend.
