Pine Hill in Sherwood Forest

This is a lovely property in a forested neighborhood. You must climb stairs to enter the home, which is closely surrounded by Rhododendrons and Mountain Laurel. The living room has a rock fireplace and comfortable seating. The bedrooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable. In the neighborhood, we swam in the pool and in one of the lakes. Saw bluegill fish in the lake, which we reached via the Muskrat Run trail. The house needs brighter lighting. There is no phone service in the area so we utilized the WiFi which we were able to connect to after several attempts. The TV worked well. We really enjoyed our stay at Pine Hill. It was like visiting a grandparents home in a cozy, warm, quilt kind of way.

Great house in a great neighborhood. The walking/hiking trails are fantastic. The lake is great for fishing. Extremely quiet! Will stay again.

This is our second year at Pine Hill. It is a well-equipt, comfortable home that provided the perfect nest for a family vacation. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My only real complaint is we ordered a pack and play and high chair for my 7 month old Grandson. They didn’t deliver until 9:00 p.m, way past his bedtime. I had to call twice to get it delivered! There are pretty steep stairs to get in the house, so just be sure no one in your group has trouble with stairs. Wonderful that every bedroom had it’s own bathroom! Had some fun toys my 3 year old Grandson enjoyed. Plenty of space to hang out! Would definitely come back!

A very nice home overall, very comfortable. We had a hard time accessing tv when we wanted to watch at night.

We had a wonderful time at Pine Hill and hope to return! The house has everything you could want for a fun family mountain vacation.

Perfect stay for our family vacation. Home was beautiful, meet our needs and then some. The kids loved the pickle ball court and my husband and I loved the trails on the property. We visited the pretty place, sliding rock and Brevard tubbing. Overall great stay!

The home is lovely and has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Sherwood Forest. It was perfect for the overflow crowd that we had for a family/ friends reunion as each bedroom had its own bathroom. You do need to be away more that there are a lot of steps to get into the home but once you are there everything is ready and waiting and very nice.

It felt like home. I would consider staying here again. When I arrived, I noticed that the garbage disposal wasn’t working. I sent a note, and it was answered right away. They were even willing to arrange for someone to come out, though I chose to live without it for the short time I was there. They were incredibly friendly.
