As beautiful as the PineBluff House is on the inside, the true gem of this property is the pebble tech patio surrounding a gorgeous black pebble tech in ground pool. With steps and then depths ranging from 3 1/2 feet to 7 1/2 feet, this pool can breathe life back into even the most weary of travelers. Between the black bottom and recently added solar heater(Sept 2020), the sun's heat is easily transferred to the water extending the swimming season on both ends of a traditional pool season. Pool not available in winter. Depending on your temperature tolerance, and weather, pool swimming season ranges from April-October generally(although I know a few Pacific NW kids who have swam in every month on the calendar!) Several chez-lounge chairs and other deck chairs are available for your basking pleasure. Large umbrellas allow you to choose shade or sun. Covered outdoor dining for 10 can be accommodated pool side to enjoy your favorite BBQ prepared on our Weber gas grill. There are outdoor speakers by the pool. Also on the patio is a solar lit 6 sided table for when it is just too nice to go inside at the end of the day.
There is ample free parking on site.
The PineBluff House is tastefully decorated with natural themed photographs and paintings, many by some of our renowned local artists and neighbors. We truly love the PineBluff House and think you will too.
In only 7 miles, you can be driving along the Wild and Scenic Merced River on your way to Yosemite National Park, where visitors can find peace and solitude in the Wilderness, or shop for historic photographs in Yosemite Village, with opportunities for fishing, hiking, and sight seeing among many other things to be discovered.
We had a great time staying at the Pine Bluff House while visiting Yosemite. The house was in a very beautiful, remote setting, perfect for a peaceful retreat. It was large and very clean inside, and had everything we needed for a wonderful, memorable stay. We hope to be back again for another visit.
Great pad, owner has really set the house up to make our stay as easy and comfortable as can be. Highly recommend this place. The setting is peaceful and very private. Great area for taking long peaceful walks, return to house to cool off with a dip in the heated pool. Thanks for making our weekend stay awesome.
Great house, experience, isolated which we wanted and amazing pool!!! We would stay there again!!!!
It feels like the house is in the middle of nowhere but it really is in a great location to get to Yosemite, if that’s your goal. The hosts leave good notes on visiting the park which we found helpful. The home was comfortable and the WiFi works well, which was nice since we had zero cell service. The individual AC units in the bedrooms was much appreciated as it gets pretty hot. The pool was the winner for sure and we thoroughly enjoyed using it every afternoon/night. We appreciated that the pool/yard area was fenced as it made it easier for our dogs. The mosquitos get real bad in the evening so definitely bring mosquito spray and watch for other little crawlers.
Great, relaxing house in perfect location. Pool is great too! Host is responsive and helpful.
This is a good location outside the park, with a nice bright feel. When we arrived, it was clean and comfortable with nice spaces to hang out both inside and outside.
This place is perfect for a larger family, two smaller families or a large mixed group. So many places miss out on offering flexibility in sleeping arrangements but this place was set up perfectly. The pool was great especially for stargazing. Clean and warm on cooler nights. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need. Grocery store 20 minutes away with a great selection for a smaller town. Btw - Mariposa was great, enjoyed going to town for dinner multiple times. Loved the seclusion of the place. Be sure to follow directions given by owner, Google doesn't always know best. Chuck was super resopnsive although there wasn't much to request. I can't recommend this place enough!! Perfect place to stsy for Yosemite!!
My family of 4 stayed here with our friends, also a family of 4 to be close to Yosemite. There was plenty of room in this spacious house for all 8 of us. The house is rustic, bathrooms are probably original, main surfaces were clean, sheets seemed new, beds were comfortable, washer and dryer are a bonus, ample supply of toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, dish soap, new scrubber, and cleaning supplies. Our four kids, who range in age from 7 to 10, all had a blast in the pool especially once we pulled the solar cover on for a night/day which warmed the water up. The owner is responsive and provided clear instructions/communication.
If anything it was better than expected! It was a long drive down the road but all paved, felt very secluded and perfect for our group! Well planned and organized with a perfectly stocked kitchen, great bedding and lots of space. We’d love to come back in the summer to use the pool!
A perfect place for two families to gather.
Surrounded by Nature and the pool was at the perfect temperature. Chuck was very responsive.
This was a nice stay and a straight drive to Yosemite. I do wish it was a little closer to the small town of Mariposa. However the drive to Mariposa was only 15 minutes away.
We love this house and always have a great time when staying here
Chuck was terrific and responsive. After a long day of hiking, it was a relaxing home to come back to. It was quiet and well equipped.
Everything was as advertised, pool was a joy. If the poolside floodlights or pool light had been functional it would have improved the experience but no complaints. I would recommend this property to others. Thank you Chuck for the hospitality
The property was very clean and very well located. It had all the amenities necessary for cooking and the beds were good. Chuck was a very good host!
Excellent location and great property. We had a minor issue with the dishwasher but otherwise all other amenities were exactly as described. Thank you Chuck!
The home is perfect for a family escape and close to the beautiful Yosemite National Park. It allows you to escape the craziness at night but still have the quiet nature around you. The house is a home and welcoming with all you need to enjoy your meals and some downtime. The pool was perfect to cool the tired body from a days hike. Chuck was great to work with, quick to respond and answered his phone when hubby forgot the code to get in. Absolutely enjoyed the home!
This is very spacious house with lot of amenities. Chuck is very responsive. We went for hiking in Yosemite. It is about 1 hour drive to Yosemite Valley. We had very pleasant stay.
Property was very secluded and quiet. Very well furnished with all the kitchen appliances and utensils. Everything we needed was there. Separate living room where the kids played dungeon and dragon and get loud.
My family and I had a terrific time at the Pine Bluff house. Plenty of space for lounging, cooking and eating! The house even had children toys, which was a pleasant surprise since one day we had rain and kept the kids indoors. All-in-all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house to other families looking to stay near Yosemite.
