Picturesque Pond Front Property - The Beach Glass Cottage

We had a wonderful six night stay at the beautiful, immaculate, tastefully decorated Beach Glass Cottage. Our hosts were fantastic - very responsive and very helpful. The house had the perfect layout for our family of five, really great amenities, and the views were phenomenal. The location was top notch for exploring the Cape. We were very comfortable and really didn't want to leave! Thank you so much Maureen and Brian!

Host was prompt and helpful with questions and the one request we had. House was perfect for our family of 5. The rooms were plenty large and having the extra sitting room was great for people to have another room besides the den. Kitchen table sat everyone. Location was convenient. It was perfect for us.

Everything stood out. Host, amenities, location, decorations, what it was stocked with. Second time renting there.

Beach Glass Cottage is a charming and comfortable cottage in Barnstable, close to beaches, restaurants, and shopping. It is tucked into a residential neighborhood and is quiet. It has a picturesque view of a pond with comfortable chairs for hanging out on a deck and around a fire pit. Everything about the cottage was laid out for our comfort. Great beds, AC, TVs, washer/dryer. Kitchen is well stocked. Maureen and Brian are very responsive! We can't say enough great things about our visit and hope to be back. And thanks for the fantastic weather!

We loved everything from start to finish with this rental. It was exactly as the photos portrayed and possibly better! We had the privilege of enjoying the baby geese who came through the yard each day from the comfortable porch. This rental has everything you’re looking for and is so centrally located. I would def stay again if ever back in Cape Cod.

We enjoyed this stunning cottage so much last year that we booked it for this year too. Everything was on one floor…no stairs to climb. It was very tastefully furnished and decorated. Anything we needed for coffee and tea and to cook were there. It was perfect!

Our stay was perfect! We loved the location. This was our first getaway since our baby was born in October. We were looking for a quiet place to relax for a few days with my visiting mom and sister. The kitchen had all the tools you need to cook a nice meal, there were lots of games, and the location was close to town and to some nice beaches.

It was everything that was advertised. The decor was simple and clean and matched the style/vibe of the house. We thoroughly enjoyed the inside and the outside of the house. Even though it was November and we couldn't have a fire in fire pit ( Massachusetts safety officials have a ban on outdoor fires right now) we enjoyed sitting outside bundled up for coffee in the morning and watching the sun set on the pond in the evening. So relaxing and beautiful. Perfect place to stay. Are already talking about renting again for a weekend in the spring.

My sisters and I absolutely loved everything about this cute Cape Cod cottage! The decor was just our style and we all felt right at home. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfy and there were lots of options for us to hang out and knit! The canvas bag Maureen left for us was a thoughtful welcome gift and we enjoyed the peppermint patties too!

This home is far superior than any of the other homes I’ve rented through VRBO. First, the home is extremely clean and in pristine condition. We loved the charm and warmth of the home. The living room was comfortable and inviting with lots of Cape Cod beach décor. The bedrooms were cozy and had more than ample blankets and pillows. And the kitchen was the best equipped and very organized, making it easy to find what we needed to prepare meals. There were little things, too, that were impressive to me, such as the little guest soaps, shampoo and body lotion in the bathrooms, giving me that B&B vibe. The owner also had a charging station available for various types of cell phones, ipads, computers, etc. Also, there was no expectation that we strip the beds upon leaving, making it clear that we were the owner’s guests. The owners of this home went above and beyond by giving their guests the best vacation experience!

Maureen had a FABULOUS property. Perfect for our small family and great home base for a weekend of wedding festivities. I would highly recommend this rental.

The Beach Glass Cottage was wonderful. We loved everything about it. It was immaculate and very cozy inside and the yard was perfect for relaxing and playing yard games. We loved to sit out on the deck and have our coffee as well. Maureen was very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. We made great memories here and I would love to come back some time.

Great location and such a beautiful house! The Cape is loaded with things to do and this house is in a great spot to get to all Cape and island activities . Highly recommend! You truly don’t need to bring anything except clothes and toiletries. Everything is provided for you.

We traveled with family for a week in the Cape and Nantucket and were so excited to see how remote and peaceful this area of town was. Not a lot of walkability but with a car or a bike (they provide) there were lots of great places to explore. Many little details that felt like we were in a boutique hotel. Would definitely go back!
