Picturesque Mountain Rest Lake Cabin on the lake with private dock!

Had a great time with 2 other friends for our annual fishing and friendship getaway. Accommodations were great for our needs and they area provided an abundance of fishing opportunities!

Very nice mountain cabin. Great place to celebrate any occasion. Beautiful small lake and you can fish or just enjoy the water with an assortment of water boards and paddle boats.

We loved the cabin. It was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the dock. Next time we come will have to be in warmer weather so that we can swim. Would definitely stay there again. Mountain Rest and Oconee County is a beautiful area and very friendly people.

Other than you have to take your garbage with you everything was great

we went to celebrate our son's birthday. no fish was caught (he is 8 now, he really hoped to catch one), but beautiful memories were made. the house is made for relaxation. cushy furniture that hugs you, lots of fishing related decor. we had a good time. saw waterfalls, went on hikes..we live in south florida, so it wasa change of scenery and weloved it.

Cozy cabin on a private lake. Very restful atmosphere

This property is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Beautiful Sunsets over the water every night added to the ambiance. Clean Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook. Plenty of water craft toys to enjoy the lake! Property manager owners were very responsive!

Four nights in July We absolutely loved everything about this super comfortable cabin! Can’t beat the view both from indoors and off all decks and the new lake dock. The queen beds were clean and comfortable - the new large shower was awesome! We fished, went swimming, enjoyed the kayaks and canoe several times each day. It’s also nice to walk the roads around the lake. We drove to a few nearby scenic spots and visited the fish hatchery and also the Stumphouse tunnel. We literally spent most of our time at the cabin! (We cooked very simple meals using the bbq grill, stove and microwave). It really is the Best view on Mountain Rest Lake. We hope to return soon!! The Hosts were easy to communicate with and very helpful with things to do in the area. We had no issues with anything. There is a notebook on the table with all kinds of notes and brochures around the area. We highly recommend!

Cabin is right on beautiful lake with wonderful swimming, canoe and kayaks provided. The house is well equipped with all you need. Beautiful floor to ceiling windows facing the lake.

Very appreciative of the property owner letting us know that our stay was extended until noon and that we can come early. Instructions were well documented, and neighboring property owners were all very friendly, would highly recommend for vacation getaway
